New White crackling polish from Barry M!

The second crakle polish from Barry M I'm going to show you is 316 White Effect. It dries quicker than OPI Black Shatter or Kelier crackle polish so work fast! The colour has good pigmentation and removal was very easy. I've used one coat of ORLY Wild Wisteria as a base colour and no topcoat.

New Barry M Blue Crackle polish! Review and swatches

Barry M recently followed a crackle polish trend and introduced three new crackle polish shades - pink, white and blue. I will show you all three starting with the blue one.

Barry M 315 Blue Effect - darker pastel blue crackling polish. Dries very fast so I had to be pretty quick with application. The pattern is really nice and stayed without chipping for two days.

I've used one coat of CND Perfectly Bare as a base colour and one coat of blue crackle polish. In the picture without top coat.

OPI Katy Perry Last Friday Night comparison

Hey guys! Today I've prepared comparison of OPI Last Friday Night with Sinful Colors Hottie. I applied both colours over NYX Ink so you can clearly see the glitter particles and the differences.

Sinful Colors Hottie is almost indentical to Last Friday Night except it has more small silver glitters in addition. You can see the density between the two of them.

OPI Katy Perry - The One That Got Away swatches

Yeah yeah yeah...you all have already seen this shade and other polishes from Katy Perry collection but I have it so I'll show you my swatches :D

The One That Got Away - vibrant raspberry colour with pink glass-flecks. This is really lovely colour, the kind I always have to get! Polish formula was really nice, I needed two coats for the full coverage. I have just the mini bottle so I struggled again with the tiny little brush. I really don't like OPI mini brushes :-/ I experienced minor chipping after three days. Overally it is a good polish, beautiful colour but nothing unique.

Have you heard of Airbase make-up? Secret of celebrities!

Some time ago I got a new makeup called Airbase to try (thank you, Debs). It is supposed to be the next big thing in make-up as it is already used on celebrities creating flawless skin.

Here is some oficial information from www.airbasemakeup.com
Packed full of vitamin A and vitamin E, Airbase is more than just a make-up. The vitamin A improves elasticity of the skin and temporarily reduces the appearance of fine lines. Vitamin E moisturises and repairs. An antioxidant, it acts as an agent to deactivate aggressive free radicals and protects cells from free radical injury.
When you spray using an airbrush it atomises the product making the particles of make-up tiny. This is why airbrush make-up is used in HD TV and film. The particles in the make-up become much smaller than when it is conventionally applied and therefore less visible.

Airbase Make-Up promises:
  • Flawless Finish
  • Weightless Application
  • Long Lasting
  • Allows Skin to Breath
  • No ‘touch-ups’ required
  • Silicone Based
  • Smooth and Natural Finish

Airbase is silicone based which might not suit everyone but personally, I don't mind it. It makes skin nice and smooth so I don't have to use any primer. Airbase makeup should be applied with airbrush to get the best results (check Pixiwoo video tutorial with airbrush if you want to see it in action). I haven't got airbrush so I've used foundation brush. It applies very smoothly because of the silicone in it and has light coverage. Airbase makeup is great for layering so if you want better coverage just apply another layer. I have shade TWO - Light Medium.

The make-up itself is quite watery, it is not thick like ordinary makeup. The result on me using foundation  brush is really nice. My skin tone is nice and even, it looks natural and does not create 'mask' on your face. I'm sure the result would be even better with airbrush as it it designed for it.

Final thoughts: If you are thinking about buying Airbase, you should definitely buy the whole set including airbrush. You can also go to one of the Airbase Professionals doing Airbase makeup just to try it and see the result.

As you can see it is almost invisible after application of one drop yet my skintone looks better!

Glittery manicure with Nails Inc. and Essence!

Hey guys! Today I'm wearing spring manicure with Nails Inc. Sugar Hill coated with Essence Nail Art Twins in Louise. I've used only one coat of Sugar Hill as it had great coverage. Also one coat of Essence and additional layer of China Glaze Fast Forward topcoat. I had to play a little with Essence so the big glitters would be on the whole nail and not in clumps.

Oooh, how I love this mani! I have an idea for a different mani but I don't want to take it off! It's been three days and it is still in very good condition and I just love those square glitters!
