Quick comparison of OPI Silver Shatter and Models Own

I hate my nails when they are short! There! I said it!

My friend lent me OPI Silver Shatter for a quick swatches but I only had it for two days...so I had to swatch on my short nails. And it sucks! This post is just for those who wanted to see OPI Silver Shatter comparison so please, don't look at my terribly short nails.

OPI Silver Shatter on the nails. No top coat, Color Club Black as a base colour.

They are both nice, both different...which one would you choose?

There isn't more beautiful flaky polish than Nfu Oh #51

I can't help myself, I always return to the flaky polishes once in a time...and Nfu Ohs are my absolute favourites! Golden Rose have some nice flakies as well but not as beautiful as Nfu Ohs :)

#51 is purple jelly with duochrome flakies that change colour from different angles. Beauty! For this mani I've used two coats of China Glaze Cowgirl Up and one coat of Nfu Oh #51.

Illamasqua Theatre Of The Nameless Collection - Berber Pure pigment swatches

Hi everybody! I'm finally back with the first review of Illamasqua Theatre Of The Nameless Collection product. Today I have here Pure pigment Berber. I will be also reviewing two nail polishes Kink and Vice but I just have to wait till my broken nail grows back :-/

Berber - Auburn Shimmer. This colour is amazing metallic brick red with gold particles. It is very pigmented...and I mean REALLY pigmented. However if you need to wash it, it goes easilly off with water. The packaging is classic like with the rest of the Pure pigments which means a little bit more difficult to open.

What Illamasqua says about this pigment:
"Made to be played with. A metallic, high-shine, pure-colour powder that highlights eyes, cheeks and brows. Mix with eye shadow, blusher or use it on its own to intense effect. Bring out your bold side."

Direct Sunlight

I've tried to use the pigment on my lips and it came out quite well. I wouldn't wear it out but it looks quite nice. I've applied it wet and it created really strong metallic effect. It lost the gold flecks effect but on the lips it doesn't really matter :)

The next thing I experimented with was turning some of the pigment into a nail polish! My first franken :) As I said before, the pigment is super pigmented so I didn't need too much of it. The swatches are without base coat and top coat and two coats. It came out very pretty, much better than it looks in the picture. The colour turned a bit more to an orange shade. It made no streaks and it applied really nicely.

And last but not least - Berber as eyeshadow. I've used it in combination with MAC Nylon, Golden Lemon pigment and e/s Carbon. The eyelashes are Black Curly Long False eyelashes  from KKcenterHK. They look very glamorous, almost like for the photoshoot but probably not for a day wearing. I'm still a beginner with applying eyelashes so excuse my not really precise application.

Berber blended really nicely but when I blended it lost the vibrant colour and the gold particles. So in the end I dabbed a little bit of pigment with my finger on the eyelid. It didn't crease at all, so far so well.

*Some of the products in this post have been sent to me for a review

What products from The Theatre Of The Nameless are your favourites? I'm definitely looking forward to swatch the rubber finish nail polishes!

Vampy, dark & flaky manicure with Nubar and Nfu Oh #60

I'm still loving Nfu Oh flaky polishes! No matter what, I will still love them!

At first I was going to wear just Nubar Ruby Velvet, dark shimmery red but then I thougt...wait a minute, why don't you use some kick-ass flaky polish??? I grabbed Nfu Oh #60 which darkened the red a lot. The result is dark brown with lot of red vampy undertones going on there.

But what I love about the mani even more is the changing coolour of flakies from burnt orange to green.

So in the end I've used OPI Base Coat, two coats of Nubar Ruby Velvet, one coat of Nfu Oh #60 and sealed with coat of Seche Vite.

Illamasqua Theatre Of The Nameless Collection -swatches coming soon

Hey guys! I'm sure you've already heard about another amazing Illamasqua's collection - Theatre Of The Nameless. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend the preview of the collection and take lots of pictures for you but I will have swatches of three products.

But first I want to introduce the collection with the official promo pictures which are again amazing, they are just art!

Descend into the riotous scene of erotic adventure that is THE THEATRE OF THE NAMELESS, nocturnal den of the dissident leaders of underworld subcultures. Exotic dancers rub shoulders with expressionist actors and performers; nudists and Boot Girls openly compete for the Conférencier’s eye; and all participate in the Club’s endless, pleasure-seeking rituals, immersing themselves in a heady world of sensual delight …
Teased by the sweet, pungent tang of opium, the air throbs with the electric shock of lovers’ flesh. Dare to feel the intensity of the club’s intimate caress, and abandon yourself to the glorious wonders of unfettered night-time make-up.

“Theatre Of The Nameless is a heady mixture of opulent hues, decadent pigments and fearless application. A bruised and burnished pallet that gives a sensual slip that bleeds colour into colour, worn through and kissed off “  Alex Box, Illamasqua Creative Director
Infused with the essence of self-expression that transformed 1920s Berlin, this rich and indulgent collection envelops the senses. Darkly sophisticated tones are accompanied by shocks of dazzling iridescence, creating a breathtakingly modern interpretation of the most illicit nightlife in history.

Xen-Tan: end of the search for the right tanning product for you - comparison

Hello lovelies!
Today I'll compare all four Xen-Tan products I've reviewed earlier HERE and HERE. I know how hard it is to choose the right product based only on the product description so that's why I am very grateful that I had a chance to try and review four of the Xen-Tan products.

Product
Transform Luxe-cream, ideal for light and gradual tanning and light complexions
Instant Mousse-my favourite product! It is the only product that is not a cream. It's a light foam with lots of air bubbles in it. dries few minutes after application so you don't have to worry about stains
Dark Lotion Absolute Luxe-cream, for dark complexions.
Dark Lotion-very dark brown cream, great for dark complexions. Let it dry out completely so you don;t colour your clothes!

Tan
The four products I've tried varied from light gradual tan to the dark tan.

Transform Luxe-one application will give you about two shades darker tan but no more. You can easily regulate the colour and you can get darker by applying more times. The tan was visible on me for about 5 days but it was fading fast
Instant Mousse-Darker tan than Transform Luxe after one application. You can apply second time for even darker tan. The colour lasted on me upt to 7 days and then faded slowly
Dark Lotion Absolute Luxe-the second darkest of the lotions. It lasted on me for about a week.
Dark Lotion-this product will give you the darket tan of all four products. See the colour difference in the pictures. I had nice colour for about 9 days

Leading colour
Transform Luxe-no leading colour
Instant Mousse-light brown with green undertones
Dark Lotion Absolute Luxe-light greenish brown colour
Dark Lotion-dark brown

Smell
Transform Luxe-very strong, rich vanilla scent
Instant Mousse-vanilla scent
Dark Lotion Absolute Luxe-very light vanilla scent
Dark Lotion-marzipan scent

Colour
Transform Luxe-white cream colour
Instant Mousse-light brown with olive undertones
Dark Lotion Absolute Luxe-greenish brown colour
Dark Lotion-very dark brown

Packaging
Transform Luxe-8 FL. OZ. (236ml)
Instant Mousse-4 FL. OZ. (118ml)
Dark Lotion Absolute Luxe-8 FL. OZ. (236ml)
Dark Lotion-8 FL. OZ. (236ml)

Price*
Transform Luxe-£24.99
Instant Mousse-£23.99
Dark Lotion Absolute Luxe-£39.99
Dark Lotion-£28.99
*prices from www.xen-tan.co.uk

Overall, all products are really good you just have to decide which one is the right for you and which one to buy. Always decide first what you expect from the product and how dark you want to get. It is always safer to start with a bit lighter self tanner and build gradually your tan. Don't waste your money, read reviews! That's really important if you don't have a choice of getting a sample to try it. Reviews and pictures can always help you with choosing the right product.

In UK you can get Xen-Tan products from official website www.xen-tan.co.uk
