The Dalai Lama's Nails for Lucy's Stash - Colourful Doodling | Guest post
Hello lovelies,
As a first guest post, I've chosen Hannah from Dalai Lama's Nails because up until recently I didn't know her blog well and she certainly deserves your attention. Hannah does everything from regular swatches to nail art manicures so definitely check out her blog!
It's so exciting to be guest posting for Lucy's Stash today! My name is Hannah, and I blog over at The Dalai Lama's Nails. I love all things polish and art - so Lucie has obviously been one of my role models. Her freehand nail art is truly beautiful, and I am so often inspired by her creativity. I hope she's off enjoying her vacation!
When I was in high school, I used to doodle a lot. I always did these very abstract combinations of color and shape - but it always started with triangles! When I went to university, though, I started taking notes on a computer, and so I forgot about my love of doodling. Nail art has reawakened my love of the abstract, of fitting shapes together and combining colors in just the right way.
Today's nail art is based on my old notebook doodles! I used a fine detailing nail art brush, and just went to town over a nude base. I don't know about you, but I am still loving negative space manicures! I used Essie Butler Please, Watermelon, Mojito Madness, and Fear or Desire to create a bright, summery doodle. I sealed it all in with a coat of Seche Vite.
Thanks for having me, Lucie!
Very cool, huh? Thank you so much Hannah for guest posting for me!
