Guest Post: xameliax at Lucy's Stash!
Hello lovelies,
Today's guest post is from Amelia, a dear fellow British blogger. She is predominantly lifestyle blogger but ventures into the beauty and nail art world as well. I have asked her to come up with a post related to nails and so today she's talking accessories!
Hi Everyone! I'm Amelia from xameliax.com (@xameliax) and it's a pleasure to be here on Lucy's blog! Today I wanted to share with you my favourite accessories to accentuate your nail art from rings, bracelets and even some retro hand tattoos!
Right now i'm absolutely loving Rose Gold! Gemporia has got some amazing rose gold rings in all shapes and sizes for a great price like the stacker ring I'm wearing above. I've paired it with Buckley London Chunky Stacker ring and I love the contrast of thick and thin metal next to eachother. Another great way to show off your nails is with a midi ring - a smaller ring that sits between your knuckle and the tip of your finger. I'm obsessed with the Midi Rings from Shop Dixi, especially their gold designs and they look great stacked up or worn over all your fingers for that boho vibe. Once you've got a few stacker rings you can mix and match depending on your mood for endless combinations!
Who says nail polish needs to stop on your nails? Why not carry on a design with a transfer like these Temporary Gold Leaf Tattoos from ASOS! Simply stick onto your hands, fingers and wrists for a really interesting look - great for festivals or for an elegant night out. Try to match some of the shapes to shapes in your nail art like feathers, hearts and tribal designs!
On the bracelet front you can go chunky or dainty this season with bight and bold cuffs or adorable little string friendship bracelets. I love the Gold Cuff from Pretty Little Thing that i'm wearing in my first photo AND these cute little Friendship Bracelets from ASOS. I like to stack the friendship bracelets up for that holiday beach feeling on my wrists or wear a big jewelled cuff with nothing else as a statement piece for my outfit.
If you're wearing gold glitter, go for gold jewellery or vice versa and try to co-ordinate colours in any jewels with your nail colour too! Jewellery is a great way to accentuate any nail art and can be twice to fun matching it all together!
I hope you enjoyed reading my post today - don't forget to check out my blog for a mix of beauty, lifestyle, travel, fashion and food or follow me on Twitter! Oh, and i also have a Youtube channel too where i put up easy to follow nail art tutorials and other beauty bits alongside daily vlogs and of course a good old haul video!
Thanks again for having me Lucy and I'll see you all again soon!
