Guest post: Debbie from The Crumpet
Hello lovelies,
Today's guest blogger is the lovely Debbie from The Crumpet! Debbie does it all - swatches & reviews, nail art, tutorials, written pieces AND she's put together great Facebook groups like British Nail Bloggers, Adventures In Stamping, Fabulous Facebook Nail Blogs and more! She's like this superwoman that manages so many things on top of her personal life and she's doing a great job! So let's have a look at what has Debbie prepared for us...

Hi Goddesses
I'm Debbie, from The Crumpet, and I am beyond thrilled to be your guest blogger today.
Like a lot of you, I LOVE LUCY! Her blog is everything I aspire to be - professional, clean (as in neat), inventive. Her photos are amazing and I love that she puts so much time into tutorials, gently encouraging us that, although it might LOOK difficult, it actually isn't. If you're Lucy :/
Lucy has also really encouraged me at various times, so I wanted my mani to reflect the things I have learnt from her -
* use acrylics! Lucy was the one who really pushed me to give it a go, and I am sooooo glad I did
* practice your brush control
* learn simple shapes, and apply them
So today we have something that looks like vintage roses, I guess. It reminds me of wallpaper - now THAT would be a tranquil room.
I started off with 3 coats of piCture pOlish Beige, a fantastic neutral, and then added stripes using a thin striper and piCture pOlish Honeydew.
I then added my roses using a large dotter and piCture pOlish Wisteria, and added the petals using a small art brush and a mix of Wisteria and Beige. For the final touch, I added petals in a dark green acrylic paint.
Thank you Lucy - thanks for being so awesome, and so encouraging. Keep being marvellous xx :)

Thank you so much Debbie for the kind words and for the contribution! Debbie has also done a picture tutorial for the roses design, you can check it out here. Visit The Crumpet for much much more and show Debbie some love, she is a really special (in the best way possible) person.
Have a lovely day everyone!
