Hello lovelies,

Today's post is very exciting for me because I want to show you not only some chic nail art but also a stunning watch I got for review! Plus I got to play a hand model for a bit :D

Fossil Watch Review & Chic Nail Art Design

So firstly let me tell you about the watch - it's a rose gold watch by Fossil (sold at chriselli.com) decorated with crystals around the clock face. I chose this one because it's very feminine, sparkly and I haven't really seen many rose gold watches around (meaning seeing them on people).

It has 29 millimetre clock face which is a perfect size for my small arm. I did have to take out three links but I have a cheap set of tools for that so it was very easy to do. The strap is made out of stainless steel and the watch is water resistant up to 100m but I definitely won't be swimming or shower with it!

It's beautiful, right? The crystals are very sparkly and the whole watch is so shiny. The watch came in a metal tin with a user guide inside and was wrapped around paper carton. I'll be keeping that packaging and storing my watch in it for sure.

So now comes the part where I play a hand model :) I've tried my best and my fiancée helped with taking the pictures but unfortunately my hands can be real awkward sometimes and I don't have a fully professional photo set up either.

As for my nails, I wanted to use a rose gold metallic polish paired up with black but sadly I don't own one. So the closest thing I could find and would still go with the watch was Julep Zoe. Zoe is a bronze brown metallic shade and I've used two coats. Then I've used striper brush and Cirque Memento Mori and painted the black stripe.

I've been sent the watch from chriselli.com, an online store selling watches, jewellery and sunglasses (and yes, it is an authorised agent for those brands ;). They sell brands such as Emporio Armani, Calvin Klein, Kate Spade, Rotary and many more. You can follow Chriselli on Facebook for regular giveaways. They are also a sister store to watches2u.com who has daily watch giveaway so check out their site too!

So what do you think of my pretty new watch and the manicure? Let me know in the comments! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

Today I have six Glam polish shades that are part of the new Cast a Spell Part II: The Magic is Back! collection. As you probably know, Glam Polish is an Australian indie brand. This new collection consists of 'Nine new magical glitter/holo shades, the collection includes two special shades perfect for Halloween, Elixir and Warlock. (All shades dry slightly textured and require top coat for a glossy finish).'

They are all dark Autumn/Winter shades and all have holographic glitter and particles in them:

Warlock - rusty orange brown base packed with holo dust and copper holo glitter. Warlock is the colour of Autumn leaves :) With the amount of glitter and other particles I expected thick and gloopy formula but luckily that wasn't a case. Warlock applied easily and two thicker coats were fully opaque. It dried fast but a bit textured so I'm wearing a coat of Seche Vite topcoat over it. Also previously featured here.

Banished - deep red-based purple base full of holo dust and dark red holo glitter. WOW! This is my absolute favourite Banished is absolutely stunning! Its rich colour is chic and will be great for whole A/W season. I'm wearing two coats and topcoat and it applied without any troubles. Can't recommend enough!

Wicca - dark grape purple base full of holo dust and purple holo glitter. Wicca is blue-toned cousin of Banished. It also has good to apply formula and is opaque in two thicker coats. I'm wearing topcoat over it.

Cauldron - deep teal blue base full of holo dust and teal holo glitter. Ok, this is another stunner! I was afraid my nails would get stained but they didn't - major plus! I've applied two thicker coats and topcoat and didn't have any troubles with the application. Cauldron also dries a bit gritty but the topcoat helped with sorting it out.

Elixir - leaf green base full of holo dust and green holo glitter. It's a pretty rich green colour that to me symbolises more the end of summer than autumn but it complements the rest of the shades nicely. All I needed were two thicker coats and topcoat. It applied well and dried fast.

Pentacle - charcoal grey with purple undertones packed with holo particles and grey holo glitter. True winter shade - it's cold, dark and sparkly! I've applied two thicker coats as with the rest of the shades and had no problems with it. I've also applied topcoat to smooth out the surface.

So just to sum up, all of these had good formula opaque in two thicker coats but they need one or two coats of topcoat for completely smooth surface. They are all super sparkly and colourful thanks to the holographic additions. My absolute favourites are Banished and Cauldron.

This Glam Polish collection is available for pre-order from September 17th from www.glampolish.com.au with shipping to Australia & USA shipping rates to USA are $7.95 for the first polish and an extra $1.00 for each addition polish.

So what do you think about Autumn colours and holo? Which one is YOUR favourite?

Have a lovely day! Lucie x
