Hello lovelies,
I hope you fancy some stamping because I've got a set of Winstonia Second Generation stamping plates to show you. I've done one stamping manicure for today's post but I will feature more in the future ;)
Winstonia 2nd Generation Stamping Plate Set features 160 images on 22 plates. There is a good mix of patterns, seasonal/holiday images and some themed plates like 'Holland plate', 'cowboy plate', 'disco plate' and more. Each plate comes with blue protective foil so I've had to spend some time removing them (I like to use tweezers rather than my nails ;)
I love stamping and painting patterns so naturally I've reached for W201 plate with triangular pattern and created a skitlette mani. If you like skittlette mani's then check Chit Chat Nails, Marta is the queen of skitletts ;)
For this design I have used OPI Live. Love. Carnaval, Winstonia plate W201, OPI Liquid Sand Honey Ryder and Born Pretty Store Studs (don't forget about the LUHH10 10% discount code).
I've had few air bubbles in the design so I have filled in any empty bits with black acrylic paint. Thankfully this design was easy to correct :)
So far I'm pleased with the Winstonia set of stamping plates as I find them well-etched (I didn't have any bad plate in my set) and they are working just fine for me. Sometimes I get bubbles or empty spaces in designs but that is always because of the way I apply nail polish on the plate.
I don't think I've ever mentioned it before but I've been using Winstonia squishy stamper for a long time now and it's the best I've tried so far! I already purchased refills as well. I've been using Konad stamper before which is made of quite hard rubber and I found it impossible to stamp whole-nail images and stamp from edge to edge. That put me off of stamping for a while until I've tried Winstonia squishy stamper and I'm never going back!
