Hello lovelies,

this is the first out of three posts that will feature two SpaRitual polishes, one nail art with tutorial and one awesome giveaway! I'm doing this series with three other lovely bloggers (their links at the bottom in Inlinkz widget). First up is...

Delight - pastel mint creme. Delight is a gorgeous and soft shades that I see mostly in Spring collections but as far as I know it is part of the SpaRitual's permanent collection so can be purchased all year round.

It has a nice formula with good application. I've applied two thicker coats for the coverage in the pictures (almost perfect) but if you are used to applying thin coats you'll need three. It dried average to fast and I have applied topcoat as well.

Hello lovelies,

I am so proud to tell you that I'm one of the chosen bloggers participating in piCture pOlish Blog Fest 2013! I've missed out on the last year one as I didn't know what it was until blogger's posts started to appear. Last year, 80 bloggers posted swatches of two PP shades on the same day but this year the 'rules' are different.

I've been sent three shades (Heavy Metal, Vegas and Bombshell) and I was asked to create my most awesome nail art using these three shades. That is a big challenge because I've done a lot of nail art over the years and I don't know if this is truly the best nail art I've done. Let's have a look...

I've tried to recreate Mehndi designs that I often see done in henna tattoo. I've always loved the intricate flower designs so I gave it a shot myself. I have started off with a white base and then painted the patterns with Pictures Polish Heavy Metal, Vegas and Bombshell.

We were supposed to do a tutorial as well but since I didn't know if this design will lead somewhere and if I'll even use it I didn't do one. Oh silly me! Anyway, I've basically always started to paint from the side of the nail outwards, changing the colours. Here is a tutorial on how to do the thumb pattern I like the most (sorry for the quality, this is the first time I've tried this kind of tutorial):
