Hello lovelies,

Today I want to show you one of the promised manicures with Morgan Taylor CHROME collection. It's actually the marbled nail art I've shown you in the review but I've stamped over it and it looks EPIC! (probably not to you but I still love it ;)

I've divided post into two part - firstly I'll show you the nail art and how to recreate it with my video tutorial and then I'll review the Bundle Monster Shangri-La stamping plate collection I've used for this look.

Wow, I just can't get over how bright, busy and colourful this look is! I was loving the plain marble nail art too but it looks even cooler with the stamping in my opinion - what do you think?

I have used all the polishes from Morgan Taylor CHROME collection to create the marble, the colours are:

  • Chrome Base (silver metallic)
  • Sunset Yellow Appliqué (yellow)
  • Amber Rush Appliqué (orange)
  • Cherry Appliqué (cherry red)
  • Royal Appliqué (royal purple)
  • Ultra Marine Appliqué (rich blue)
  • Ivy Appliqué (green)

Then I've stamped over the nails with Hit The Bottle Snowed In (white) stamping polish and the Bundle Monster Shangri-La stamping plates BM-S101 and BM-S108.

I just had to record a tutorial for this look because it looks difficult but it's in fact very easy to re-create. I would love to see your manicures inspired by this tutorial so please do tag me @lucysstash or #lucysstash so I can check them out!

Here's how to do it:

Now I want to show you the Bundle Monster Shangri-La collection which consists of 10 small square stamping plates. Each plate is fully etched so you can stamp any portion of the design 'buffet style'. The plates come in a plastic pouch and each has the blue protective foil so please don't forget to remove it before stamping ;) All plates are etched well and all stamped very nicely, I didn't have any issues in that sense.

This collection is full of abstract designs ranging from mehndi and paisley style to zentangle and geometric-like styles. I really like them all but I definitely prefer and reach for the floral and paisley-like plates. To me they are a bit more feminine and prettier.

I wanted this stamping plates collection since it came out and it didn't disappoint me. It offers such great variety and I can see great possibilities for ledlighting designs, simple overlay of stamping over plain or colourful background (like I did above) and more! Well done Bundle Monster on this great set!

Hello lovelies,

I'm majorly behind with posting new nail polish releases (you know, busy life and all ;) so you've probably seen this polish before but because it's very pretty I want to review it anyway!

So what polish am I talking about? A England Whispering Waves of course, one of the two new additions to the Heavenly Quotes line! Let's check it out first...

Whispering Waves is a turquoise blue  polish with fine holo finish. What's even more interesting about his shade is that it has a slight duochrome effect as well. In the right angle it leans towards denim blue and pink. For some reason my camera didn't capture the beautiful soft holo effect nor the full colour shift. BUT if you'll buy the polish you'll be very pleasantly surprised at how much prettier it is in real life.

The formula was the perfect buttery A England formula that we all so love. It applied very easily and two thin coats were fully opaque. The polish dried fast and smooth but I still applied topcoat for the swatch. The only problem I found was staining - I have had all nails with peel-off base with no staining and one nail where I haven't used any base coat and there I've experienced blue staining. So please use thicker base coat with this polish!

You really can't go wrong with A England. This is just another in a row of beautiful polishes and I'm so glad I got to try it. I'd also recommend you to check out To Emily Bronte collection, it's full of ah-mazing colours!

Whispering Waves and other collections are available at A England website or from one of the international distributors.

Hope you've enjoyed today's review and I'll see you soon! Lucie x
