Hello lovelies,

Today I want to show you an absolutely gorgeous shade from piCture pOlish - Ornate. It's another one in a row of collaboration shades with bloggers and this creation comes from A Lacquered Affair.

I couldn't help myself and I paired this polish with some flowers again. I love photos with flowers, they make them look so much more special!

Ornate* is muted medium purple creme filled with bijou holo particles and gold and pink hex glitters. Ornate looks like a very 'busy' polish in the bottle but once it's on the nails it all matches together and it looks rich and luxurious. The formula was easy to apply and fully opaque in two coats. It dried fast but slightly gritty due to the glitter in the polish. I would recommend using thicker topcoat like Seche Vite or some gel finish topcoat.

What a stunning and original colour! I don't have any other like this in my nail polish collection so thank you piCture pOlish for letting me review this beauty!

The Rose Gold rings I'm wearing are from So Nailicious Boutique and I won them in a giveaway a while back. They are still available if you want to buy them. I'd also like to mention that by buying from small shops like these you support small businesses, families and also fellow bloggers and that's always better than supporting corporations, right? In no way I am sponsored or affiliated with So Nailicious Boutique other than winning one of their giveaways and purchasing from them in the past.

Hope you've enjoyed the post and photos and will let me know how you like piCture pOlish Ornate ;) Have a lovely day! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

I've got another exciting manicure to show you today AND there's a video tutorial! You already know that I love the shattered glass nail trend but I like to try new things. I came across a beautiful opal photo at The Arkenstone (big thanks to them for allowing me to use their photo) that inspired me to use the shattered glass method to create this rainbow opal look.

I couldn't be happier with this manicure, it looked amazing in real life! I stared at my nails for ages and didn't want to take them off. It resembled the opal stone even more than I thought I could pull off and it wasn't that difficult to do. Here is the list of products I've used and where you can buy them..

And here's the promised tutorial on how to recreate this look:

What do you think? Simple enough to create? If you do give it a try I'd love to see your nails! Tag me @lucysstash or include #lucysstash to let me know :)

Just as I'm writing this post I've done some googling and found that Lexa from glitterfingersss-en.blogspot.hu has done little bit similar look at the beginning of this year even though she has used a bit different method.. So just to avoid any misunderstandings, I'm not claiming to have invented this look but I didn't see anyone else until I just googled it :) Check her out!

Hope you've enjoyed this look and will check out my tutorial as well! Have a lovely day! Lucie x
