Hello lovelies,

How are you all? As promised, I keep practising one stroke nail art. It's very simple now but I hope to learn more advanced flowers as well. I even bought a DVD learning course! Wish me luck lol!

For now, here's my new creation :)

First I started with two coats of Dance Legend Enamel Glass collection 1055 and one coat of Dance Legend City Lights Sleepwalk glitter topper. Once the polish dried I've used acrylic paints and flat one stroke brush to paint the one stroke flowers. They're far from perfect but I'm veeeery slowly getting there (..or at least somewhere).

What do you think? Too basic or ok? Let me know in the comments!

Have a lovely day! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

I have prepared a nail polish review for today and also a little question at the end of the post for you. The polish I'll be talking about today is SpaRitual Artisan. It is part of the Pause collection for Autumn 2015. Pause consists of six colours and has nice mix of jewel and earth-toned shades.

About: "Pause collection - As the weather begins to shift, so does our focus. From macro to micro. We learn to look at the world around us with a keener eye for detail. The wings of a bird, the delicate work of a master carpenter, the individual fibers of a knitted sweater. We reconsider things often taken for granted. The delicate, the intricate, the almost invisible patterns that make the mundane magnificent."

Artisan - ruby red half jelly base with gold flecks. The gold flecks are coloured by the base so they don't appear gold but they add beautiful depth and subtle sparkle to the polish. It has a nice formula that flows easily and is well-pigmented. Two coats provide full coverage it dried fast as well. There's nothing negative I can say about this polish, it's really good. As I'm writing this review I'm still wearing it (with some nail art of course) and it's been four days and I only have a minor tipwear, no chips!

And now for the question for you guys...for a while I have been thinking of rounding my nails because some nail art looks better on round nails but I wanted to try it out first so I have rounded my nails on my right hand. Below is a picture so you can compare - what do you think?

I like the round shade pi real life but it doesn't seem to look as nice on me in the photos, it's really strange. I'll probably keep the round shape on my right hand for a while and file it into almond shape when the nails grow a bit more but I'm still not convinced about the round shape. Tell me what you think in the comments!

Oh and if you're wondering - the rings I'm wearing are from SoNailicious Boutique and I was lucky to win them in an Instagram competition :)

SpaRitual Pause collection is/will be available at SpaRitual UK and  SpaRitual US  and at the usual outlets like salons and spas.

Have a lovely day! Lucie x
