Hello lovelies,

What a weekend! On Thursday evening I bought tickets to see my favourite Czech band Krystof who were playing in London after long 8 years! It was exciting and a lot of fun but surviving Sunday wasn't easy! We came home close to 4 am so I was knackered and with a massive headache the whole next day. But it was worth it!

Today's nail polishes come from Azature, the creators of the most expensive nail polish. Azature representative approached me and offered to send me few polishes to try so I happily agreed. I have been following Azature on Instagram and have also seen many swatches of their stunning glitters and other polishes on various blogs. Azature polishes have a very distinctive and attractive bottle that reminds me of a cut precious stone. I have been sent their Pink Diamond and White Diamond glitters (and Black Diamond) and I've decided to pair the two together...

Polishes came in a chic black pouch and black snake-print embossed box with Azature logo. One of the most cool packaging ever (pssst! they also included a signed blind fold mask as the 50 Shades Of Grey film was just out!). Azature polishes are well-known for containing real black diamond in them and that just makes them that bit more special.

Both Pink Diamond and White Diamond polishes were finer-than usual glitters in a tinted base. They were quite sheer so I've applied three coats for the coverage you see in the pictures. They are best for layering but I wanted to see how many coats it would take for good opacity. They applied easily and formula was nice and not too gritty when dry. One coat of thicker topcoat was enough for smoothing out the surface. The sparkle of the polishes really stands out, especially in the sun. I really liked wearing them.

I've read great things about the darker glitter shades and cremes so if you are after great pigmentation perhaps you might like to try those. These are much better as a topper.

You can find out more at Azature website and on Facebook and Twitter. The polishes can also be purchased from Azature website and from Kitson, SelfridgesHarvey Nichols Saudi ArabiaRon Robinson and Ron Herman Japan for $25.

Have a lovely day! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

Today's post is very special! Not only I have re-done my Pink Pastel Galaxy Nails and done a new video tutorial but I've also done this in collaboration with The Body Shop! One March Thursday morning I got into my car and three hours later I was in The Body Shop HQ in Littlehampton in the south of England. It was very charming everywhere around and the HQ building was built in the Japanese style. I thought that was very cool! Unfortunately as I was in a rush to get in I didn't take a picture and when we finished it was starting to get darker.

I've taken pictures of the nails the next day at home so you'll get a bit more than just a video tutorial ;) All products I'll be using are from The Body Shop, including their Colour Crush nail polish range:

For this look I've used The Body Shop:

Top and Base Coat

Frosting Fancy

Oh Petal

Cupid Pink

Crimson Kiss

Professional Make-Up Sponge

Lipstick & Concealer Brush

Sweet Almond Oil Nail Varnish Remover

Nail Art Pen (Dotting Tool)

All of these are available at www.thebodyshop.co.uk and at The Body Shop in your country.

And now the promised video tutorial! I am very shy in front of the camera and it took me a while to gather my courage so I hope you'll enjoy it!

I also want to share with you my experience at The Body Shop HQ. To me it looked like such a cool place to work! After checking myself at the reception desk I was seated in a circular waiting area with comfy sofas, soft plush rugs and a view to a small inside garden. Shortly after I was greeted by lovely Antonia who you might know as @nailsandpolkadots on IG. And then it was straight to work in a small office. I passed two walls covered in Body Shop products and an inside store that was being built. The will have a replica of a store in their office!!! How awesome is that?!

The videographer was already waiting and doing last preparations and after a short brief we began to film. I did two nail designs in total so there will be another video in the future!

In the middle of the working day we were treated to some lunch in their retro American-style diner! Yes you heard right - they also have an American-style diner WITH JUKEBOX! Of course I snapped few pics for you as well:

At the end of a long day (with hours of driving home still ahead) Antonia treated me with a generous goody bag of The Body Shop products. By now I've already tried some of the products and some are worth mentioning:

  • Vitamin E Overnight Serum-In-Oil - a great alternative to my night cream combining serum an oil. My dry skin loves this product and for £13 (28ml) it costs much less than high-end serums. Also I adore the limited edition Union Jack packaging. I already own few products from the Vitamin E range and love and use them all.
  • Strawberry Body Sorbet - this is very unusual product to me but it's really good, especially for hot months. It's so light and cooling and it absorbs very fast, leaving silky smooth and not at all sticky skin. The best thing about is the smell though - so yummy!
  • Wonderblur - you'll probably love this product if you don't want to wear makeup but still want to have a nice skin - it does the same thing as Clarins Lisse Minute and it feels the same as well. It feels silky smooth and smoothes out lines and pores in your skin. I wore it under makeup like a primer as well but for this it needs to be evenly spread everywhere otherwise you might get patching. Nonetheless it costs third of the price of the Clarins product so thumbs up from me!

So these are just some of my picks and the experience from The Body Shop HQ and of course the nails! I truly hope you've enjoyed the video and the post, don't forget to share, give it a like and follow Lucy's Stash and The Body Shop on YouTube ;)

Have a lovely day! Lucie x
