Hello lovelies,

You might have noticed I've taken few days of blogging break to re-charge my batteries and do some swaching and tutorial filming. I'm back baby! You know I've been trying to make my blog more interesting and a little bit more varied and one of the things is to show accessories and watches. Well today I have here a stunning Marc by Marc Jacobs watch from Watches2u online store. Even though I got it for a review in November I will consider it as one of my Christmas presents because I wished for this type of watch for a long time.

Let's have a closer look...

The watch is Marc by Marc Jacobs brand which I don't think I have to introduce to you..we all know Marc Jacobs perfumes and other products, right? The watch is predominantly made out of stainless steel and is part of the Baker range. It has quite large clock face with 36.5mm in diameter. I usually go for watches with small clock faces because I have skinny wrists and they look more elegant and delicate but in this case I find that the watch is still looking great even with larger clock face.

And of course I had to model the watch with some pretty manicure! I'm wearing gorgeous All That Jazz Louise’s - From Riches to Rubies (reviewed here).

Looks beautiful, doesn't it? I chose silver colour because that's the colour I will wear the most and it complements my engagement ring as well. The style of the watch is very simple and timeless, I like it so much! It will go with almost any clothes and I can see it being worn for any occasion. I think watch like this would be a great present not just for Christmas. I've had a look around Watches2U website and I've found so many beautiful watches from the likes of DKNY, Michael Kors, Radley, Fossil and more. This particular watch I'm wearing is available here.

Also, Watches2U giveaway a watch every day so try you luck! You can enter here.

So what do you think of my new watch? ;) Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

Today's review of All That Jazz Louise’s - From Riches to Rubies kind of ties to two previous posts I made. I got this polish as a gift at the Gelish training I went to (post about it here) and I also featured it in my Monthly Favourites post because you know...it's super pretty as you'll see!

All That Jazz is kind of a new brand on the block that launched in September 2013 at Olympia Beauty Exhibition. I was there that day and I remember popping into their stand that was fashioned into a chic boudoir (you can find my photos here). I can tell you one thing - you can expect to see much more of this brand soon!

Back to the polish of the day - Louise’s - From Riches to Rubies is a red-tinted jelly base full of fine red glitter, perfect for the holiday season!

I started my manicure with a coat of All That Jazz Base Line basecoat. I'm always a bit wary of red polishes and the fact that they can stain. The Base Line is slightly thicker so it evened the nail surface nicely and worked a bit like a ridge filler and a good protection. Then I applied two coats of Louise’s - From Riches to Rubies. It had a good formula that applied easily and dried fast. Two coats were fully opaque but they dried a bit gritty because of the glitter. I applied two coats of Top Note topcoat but I still didn't get that completely smooth surface. Since then I've learnt that All That Jazz has a separate topcoat called Double Top specifically created for glitter polishes.

It's super pretty, isn't it? I really loved wearing this polish and it lasted on my right hand for full five days without chipping (I removed it from my swatching hand after three days).

All That Jazz polishes and other hand care products are available at Nail Harmony UK website. Each nail polish bottle holds 15ml and retails for £7.

Have a nice day and stay polished! Lucie x
