Hello lovelies,

Recently, Barry M has created four exclusive shades - two for Boots and two for Superdrug. I've already reviewed the Boots exclusives here so today I'll show you the Superdrug ones. They are called Seaside and Promenade and both have shimmer finish.

Promenade - Dark pink shimmer with pink and gold particles. This polish is a bit sheerer so I've applied three regular coats but my nail line still slightly visible. It applied well and I needed a topcoat to get smooth and glossy finish.

Seaside - bright turquoise blue shimmer with fine silver particles. Seaside is even prettier than Promenade and it just screams tropical sea & holiday! It applied very easily but is also slightly sheer. I've applied three regular coats and topcoat.

Both polishes are very pretty and definitely worth being Summer limited edition. If you would like to get your hands on either of these, they are available at Superdrug: PromenadeSeaside for £3.99 each. Also there is a 3 for 2 offer on right now.

Which one do you prefer? And what about the cute bottle caps? Would you buy them just for those?

Have a lovely day! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

Here's the thing - I've reviewed Barry M Olive, a pale olive green polish that looked just plain ugly to me. That got me thinking - what can I do with this polish and turn it into nice manicure?

I've decided to do 'precious stone' inspired design which is a bit similar to this watercolour manicure I've done before. However, this time I've used acrylic paint and overlapped instead of mixed the colours...

As I mentioned earlier, I've used Barry M Olive as a base colour and then I've used acrylic paints for the nail art. Despite the overlapped layers, the design still reminds me of precious stone/gemstone which I really love!

So what do you think? Did I manage to turn ugly polish into nice manicure? ;)

Have a lovely day! Lucie x
