Hello lovelies,

So I did glitter placement mermaid nails...AND I LOOOVE THEM! I got really inspired by Laura from Polish All The Nails who has done so many beautiful glitter placement manis that I wanted to do another one too.

Let's check out the nails first...

How gorgeous are they??? I really didn't want to remove them so I wore them as long as I could. I have used opalescent glitter from Hobbycraft store and Barry M Damson as a base. What do you think? Would you wear these?

Also, I'd like to ask for your nomination in the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards, entries accepted til 2nd June. I have been lucky to be shortlisted at the which is very much thanks to you! The awards are open again and I would be absolutely thrilled if you would be so kind and nominate my blog, let's show them that nail blogs are here too! If you like my nail art, tutorials and my work overall, then please nominate Lucy's Stash (lucysstash.com) in the Best Established Beauty Blog category HERE. You don't have to be in UK to nominate my blog. You can live anywhere in the world! Thank you x

Have a lovely day ;) Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

Sorry for taking blogging break during the weekend, I needed to catch up on swatching and relax a bit. The good news is I got a lot done, the bad news is I didn't manage to write any new posts so I'm now behind in writing...the struggles of a nail blogger :D

Today I want to share a swatch of Barry M Gelly in Pomegranate which is gorgeous raspberry red colour with glossy finish. I don't think I have reviewed Barry M Gelly before but I do like them very much and I plan to buy some more.

Believe it or not, this is just one coat of Pomegranate and topcoat. It chipped after a day and a half so next time I think I'll apply two coats but my point was - it is well pigmented and one coat was nicely opaque :) The formula was easy to work with and it dried very glossy. I know that it is not necessary because we're all using topcoat anyway but it is nice to see glossy finish. The pictures with flowers were taken outside with my phone, the rest is in the lightbox. The lightbox pictures are more colour-accurate.

Barry M polishes are available at Superdrug, Boots and barrym.com. I'm listing drugstores first because very often they have offers like 3 for 2 ;) As for international sales, I'm not sure Barry M is available outside UK but feel free to correct me.

Have a nice day everyone! Lucie x
