How are you all doing? It's already March and it got me thinking? What about all those New Year's resolutions? A big portion of resolutions revolves around weight loss and exercise and exercise is an inspiration of today's nails.
Bundle Monster has released a set of exercise-themed stamping plates last year (reviewed here) and I've done another manicure with them :) This time I've combined the Bundle Monster designs with a colourful background achieved with Morgan Taylor Chrome collection polishes.
I've started with Models Own Chrome Turquoise, a blue metallic polish. Then I've painted brush lines and strokes with Morgan Taylor Sunset Yellow Appliqué, Ultra Marine Appliqué and Royal Appliqué so that they overlap each other in places.
Next, I wanted to protect my skin before stamping so I've painted Bundle Monster Poli-Peel latex barrier around my nails. Then I've stamped over the colourful background with Bundle Monster Work It! plates BM-XL172 and BM-XL172 and sealed the nails with Seche Vite topcoat.
So that's my exercise-themed manicure! What do you think? Let me know in the comments...
Have a lovely day! Lucie x

Today I want to show you one of the promised manicures with Morgan Taylor CHROME collection. It's actually the marbled nail art I've shown you in the review but I've stamped over it and it looks EPIC! (probably not to you but I still love it ;)
I've divided post into two part - firstly I'll show you the nail art and how to recreate it with my video tutorial and then I'll review the Bundle Monster Shangri-La stamping plate collection I've used for this look.
Wow, I just can't get over how bright, busy and colourful this look is! I was loving the plain marble nail art too but it looks even cooler with the stamping in my opinion - what do you think?
I have used all the polishes from Morgan Taylor CHROME collection to create the marble, the colours are:
Chrome Base (silver metallic)
Sunset Yellow Appliqué (yellow)
Amber Rush Appliqué (orange)
Cherry Appliqué (cherry red)
Royal Appliqué (royal purple)
Ultra Marine Appliqué (rich blue)
Ivy Appliqué (green)
Then I've stamped over the nails with Hit The Bottle Snowed In (white) stamping polish and the Bundle Monster Shangri-La stamping plates BM-S101 and BM-S108.
I just had to record a tutorial for this look because it looks difficult but it's in fact very easy to re-create. I would love to see your manicures inspired by this tutorial so please do tag me @lucysstash or #lucysstash so I can check them out!
Here's how to do it:
Now I want to show you the Bundle Monster Shangri-La collection which consists of 10 small square stamping plates. Each plate is fully etched so you can stamp any portion of the design 'buffet style'. The plates come in a plastic pouch and each has the blue protective foil so please don't forget to remove it before stamping ;) All plates are etched well and all stamped very nicely, I didn't have any issues in that sense.
This collection is full of abstract designs ranging from mehndi and paisley style to zentangle and geometric-like styles. I really like them all but I definitely prefer and reach for the floral and paisley-like plates. To me they are a bit more feminine and prettier.
I wanted this stamping plates collection since it came out and it didn't disappoint me. It offers such great variety and I can see great possibilities for ledlighting designs, simple overlay of stamping over plain or colourful background (like I did above) and more! Well done Bundle Monster on this great set!
