Hello lovelies,

Today's post is very special because it's a Secret Santa edition of Paint All The Nails nail art challenge! Usually we vote on a theme and then do nail art inspired by the theme or technique but because this month is special, that's not what's happening. The point of this challenge is to recreate a nail art from randomly drawn blogger who also joined this challenge. I will be doing manicure inspired by ......Christine from Serenity Nails, a talented Australian blogger! Christine is a great swatcher and she ventures into nail art pretty often too!

Christine has done a review of Dance Legend Aquarelle polishes and she's done quite a few ledlighting designs with them. I got inspired by one of the geometric stamped design (then last one in the review). I didn't have the exact design so I improvised and also added two accent nails. Here's my manicure:

I really liked all the different designs Christine did with purple and blue Aquarelle shades and this was my attempt inspired by her creations. I didn't have the exact stamping plate and patterns so my manicure isn't exactly the same but I hope she won't mind. I've used the Uber Chic plate 2-01 for both stamped images. I stamped with Hit the Bottle As Black As Night, really good black stamping polish and the white pattern is stamped with Essence polish. Then I filled the geometric patterns in with Dance Legend Sisley and OPI Purple Perspective. Lastly, I sealed the nails with Seche Vite topcoat.

So that was my nails inspire by Christine from Serenity Nails :) Don't forget to check out Christine's blog or Facebook and Instagram and to find out whose manicures were other participating bloggers recreating, click on the manicures below in the link-up.

Have a lovely day! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

I've got another exciting manicure to show you today AND there's a video tutorial! You already know that I love the shattered glass nail trend but I like to try new things. I came across a beautiful opal photo at The Arkenstone (big thanks to them for allowing me to use their photo) that inspired me to use the shattered glass method to create this rainbow opal look.

I couldn't be happier with this manicure, it looked amazing in real life! I stared at my nails for ages and didn't want to take them off. It resembled the opal stone even more than I thought I could pull off and it wasn't that difficult to do. Here is the list of products I've used and where you can buy them..

What do you think? Simple enough to create? If you do give it a try I'd love to see your nails! Tag me @lucysstash or include #lucysstash to let me know :)

Just as I'm writing this post I've done some googling and found that Lexa from glitterfingersss-en.blogspot.hu has done little bit similar look at the beginning of this year even though she has used a bit different method.. So just to avoid any misunderstandings, I'm not claiming to have invented this look but I didn't see anyone else until I just googled it :) Check her out!

Hope you've enjoyed this look and will check out my tutorial as well! Have a lovely day! Lucie x
