Hello lovelies,

I think it's time for some flakies. I haven't played with them for a long time and I don't dare to touch my precious Nfu Oh flakies collection. Luckily, I have received three Dance Legend polishes from their Candy Flakes collection.

First up is Bite Tonight 610 - chocolate brown jelly-ish base full of red opalescent flakies. The polish by itself is quite sheer so I've applied one coat over OPI Scores A Goal! It would need at least three coats to build the opacity. The formula was easy to apply, it dries fast and a bit gritty so it definitely needs a topcoat.

Tinsel 612 - green jelly base with gold opalescent flakies. What a gorgeous green! I've applied two thick coats for the coverage you see in the pictures. It applied well and dried fast. I've applied topcoat to smooth out the surface.

Lollypop 609 - pink jelly base with pink opalescent flakies. This polish is very sheer so I've done a layering experiment with it. I've layered one coat over white, black and three coats by itself. As you can see the colour can be built up but it is also great for layering. Formula was easy to apply and fast-drying.

Gorgeous polishes, right? It's a bit shame they are so sheer but they are jelly-based so I expected that.

If you would like to get your hands on these, they are available at Dance Legend website. Dance Legend is a Russian company so if you can't or don't want to order directly from Russia, you can do so from one of the following re-sellers:

Hello lovelies,

I hope you've had a good weekend! I am very happy to share with you that I have successfully passed Manicure assessment so I'm now officially qualified in Manicure treatment, yay! Now it's just the Nail Technician assessments but that's ongoing for another 6 weeks or so.

Since it's Monday, I'll show you another gorgeous piCture pOlish shade called Focus. This is a collaboration shade created together with Pointless Cafe and it's a dark, red-based purple crelly with micro-flakes and shimmer. Beautiful! The formula was easy to apply and two thicker coats were nicely opaque. You might want to use three thin coats, that will work too. The polish dried fast and I ended up applying topcoat to get a completely smooth surface.

Gorgeous, right? I've always loved red-based purples, those are my absolute favourite so Focus was a love at first sight!

piCture pOlish is available at their website or at many international e-shops.

Hope you've enjoyed today's post and have a lovely day! Lucie x
