Hello lovelies,

I haven't shown you any swatches of the OPI Coca-Colla collection so here they finally are! Unfortunately couple of bottles broke in transit so I've decided to do 'my picks' post instead and I'll show you six of my favourites from this collection.

OPI Coca-Cola Collection - My picks | Review & Swatches

You’re So Vain-illa - light vanilla-beige creme. This was an easy pick because You’re So Vain-illa is perfect base for any vintage-style nail art. I've applied two thicker coats for full coverage. It applied easily and dried fast. I've already used You’re So Vain-illa in nail art, you can see it here.

Sorry I’m Fizzy Today - muted coral creme. I like this shade because the classic pink coral colour don't suit me very much. But this one is not as bright. The formula is a bit sheerer, I needed three coats for full opacity. Otherwise it applied well and dried fast.

Coca-Cola Red - bright tomato red creme. Oh what a stunning shade of red! It's timeless and super glossy and very well pigmented. I've applied two thin coats for good coverage. It dried fast and smooth.

Get Cherried Away -  medium purple creme. It's a gorgeous purple but it's much warmer than my pictures show. It applied nicely and two coats were fully opaque.

My Signature Is “DC” - metallic silver. I couldn't leave out this beauty, could I? I was a bit afraid it will be streaky or patchy but I was very pleasantly surprised. It applied very easily and without any streaks. Two regular coats were fully opaque and it dried fast. Perfect!

Today I Accomplished Zero - black jelly base with red glitter. This one is that classic goth-y shade great for Halloween. It's a bit on the sheer side, I needed two thick coats for full coverage. It dried fast but gritty so I needed a thicker topcoat.

Hello lovelies,

Today I have six Glam polish shades that are part of the new Cast a Spell Part II: The Magic is Back! collection. As you probably know, Glam Polish is an Australian indie brand. This new collection consists of 'Nine new magical glitter/holo shades, the collection includes two special shades perfect for Halloween, Elixir and Warlock. (All shades dry slightly textured and require top coat for a glossy finish).'

They are all dark Autumn/Winter shades and all have holographic glitter and particles in them:

Warlock - rusty orange brown base packed with holo dust and copper holo glitter. Warlock is the colour of Autumn leaves :) With the amount of glitter and other particles I expected thick and gloopy formula but luckily that wasn't a case. Warlock applied easily and two thicker coats were fully opaque. It dried fast but a bit textured so I'm wearing a coat of Seche Vite topcoat over it. Also previously featured here.

Banished - deep red-based purple base full of holo dust and dark red holo glitter. WOW! This is my absolute favourite Banished is absolutely stunning! Its rich colour is chic and will be great for whole A/W season. I'm wearing two coats and topcoat and it applied without any troubles. Can't recommend enough!

Wicca - dark grape purple base full of holo dust and purple holo glitter. Wicca is blue-toned cousin of Banished. It also has good to apply formula and is opaque in two thicker coats. I'm wearing topcoat over it.

Cauldron - deep teal blue base full of holo dust and teal holo glitter. Ok, this is another stunner! I was afraid my nails would get stained but they didn't - major plus! I've applied two thicker coats and topcoat and didn't have any troubles with the application. Cauldron also dries a bit gritty but the topcoat helped with sorting it out.

Elixir - leaf green base full of holo dust and green holo glitter. It's a pretty rich green colour that to me symbolises more the end of summer than autumn but it complements the rest of the shades nicely. All I needed were two thicker coats and topcoat. It applied well and dried fast.

Pentacle - charcoal grey with purple undertones packed with holo particles and grey holo glitter. True winter shade - it's cold, dark and sparkly! I've applied two thicker coats as with the rest of the shades and had no problems with it. I've also applied topcoat to smooth out the surface.

So just to sum up, all of these had good formula opaque in two thicker coats but they need one or two coats of topcoat for completely smooth surface. They are all super sparkly and colourful thanks to the holographic additions. My absolute favourites are Banished and Cauldron.

This Glam Polish collection is available for pre-order from September 17th from www.glampolish.com.au with shipping to Australia & USA shipping rates to USA are $7.95 for the first polish and an extra $1.00 for each addition polish.

So what do you think about Autumn colours and holo? Which one is YOUR favourite?

Have a lovely day! Lucie x
