Hello lovelies,

I've just realised I still haven't done a post on the nails I wore for the Illamasqua Glamore collection event in London. I did red, black & white mix & match nails.

The nails feature various designs from the WAH Nails Book of Downtown Girls like the cute flowers and paisley. Then I've painted the Arrowheads pattern on my right thumb, Jonqal pattern on my pointer finger and lastly the cross, circles and heart design. I can't remember if and where I've seen it before so excuse me for not crediting (if you know, tell me ;).

I have used OPI Alpine Snow, A England Camelot, Dance Legend Geometric Top and Illamasqua Throb. I've also used the Nails Supreme nail art pens (available here) for some detailed work like the paisley design or the crosses and circles.

In case you want to know, I'm wearing super sparkly sequin jumper from BANK Fashion that I got as a part of previous feature post.

I must say I got so many compliments on these nails which is always very flattering and I enjoyed wearing them so much! There is something about the red, black and white combination that always intrigues me. Anyways enough of me blabbing, have a lovely day and stop by tomorrow for a new post. Love, Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

I'm still experimenting with the Shattered Stars polishes from the new Illamasqua Glamore collection and today I have a studded gradient design. I've heard that the Illamasqua girls were doing gradients with the polishes at the Illamasqua blogger event. I didn't see them but I got inspired by the idea and created this...

I have used Illamasqua Trilliant as a base colour and then using the nail polish brush with just a bit of polish I painted on the gradient tips using Marquise. As the last step I've applied studs from Born Pretty Store (you can use LUHH10 discount code).

If you've missed a review of the new Illamasqua polishes, check it out here. I've also done another textured nail art with Marquise here.

So what do you think? Do you like the combination of texture, gradient and studs? How else would you wear the Illamasqua Shattered Stars trio?

Have a lovely day x
