Hello lovelies,

Here's the thing - I've reviewed Barry M Olive, a pale olive green polish that looked just plain ugly to me. That got me thinking - what can I do with this polish and turn it into nice manicure?

I've decided to do 'precious stone' inspired design which is a bit similar to this watercolour manicure I've done before. However, this time I've used acrylic paint and overlapped instead of mixed the colours...

As I mentioned earlier, I've used Barry M Olive as a base colour and then I've used acrylic paints for the nail art. Despite the overlapped layers, the design still reminds me of precious stone/gemstone which I really love!

So what do you think? Did I manage to turn ugly polish into nice manicure? ;)

Have a lovely day! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

I've finally finished the second half of Zoya Summer collection - Bubbly. The Bubbly collection consists of six shimmery glitter shades that complement the Tickled collection (reviewed here). They are all in fun bright shades and they look great layered over creme polishes ;)

Jesy - orange jelly base with gold shimmer and opalescent glitter. I've applied three coats by themselves to get good coverage as the polish is quite sheer.

All polishes in this collection have the same formula and same opalescent glitter. They are different just in the colour of the jelly base. They all applied quite well despite being slightly thicker and they dried fast. The two orange shades are slightly sheerer and are better layered. I like this collection a bit more than the creme shade part and I have some glitter gradient coming up with one of them.

Zoya polishes are available at zoya.com (US) and at tnbl.co.uk (UK)
