Hello lovelies,

Guess what? New A England collection is out and I have swatches! The collection is called Elizabeth & Mary and is inspired by '2 iconic Queens in British history'. It consists of 5 brand new shades, 3 holographic, one shimmer and one metallic.

Adina, the creator of the A England brand, says: "I tried to catch the mood from their portraits, their story and from the idea of the mossy Fotheringhay Castle where Mary met her destiny."

Crown Of Thistles - a purple holographic that matches the national flower of Scotland. This is a gorgeous medium purple with very fine and quite subtle scattered holographic effect. It's quite a signature for A England to create subtle holo shades rather than full-on linear holos. The polish had really good formula that applied smoothly and dried fast. All I needed were two thin coats because it's highly pigmented. It dried glossy so I'm not wearing topcoat in the photos.

Virgin Queen - antique white/silver/bronze holographic shade. Virgin Queen is one of those so hard-to-describe colours. I can see shades of silver brown, antique gold and hints of bronze. All that infused with subtle scattered holo powder. It has a bit of a metallic feel to it but it is not really metallic. It has easy to apply formula that dried fast and smooth and was fully opaque in two thin coats. Very unusual and A/W appropriate shade!

Fotheringhay Castle - mossy green scattered holographic with gold reflections. Second very unique colour in this collection, I don't think I have a dupe in my collection. The name is somewhat a problem for me as I can't even pronounce it but that doesn't stop me painting my nails with it! The formula was excellent and easy to apply and this polish is almost one coater. I applied two thin coats and no topcoat. It dried fast and glossy.

Gloriana - metallic rusty red base with gold flecks. Gloriana is very rich colour that was very hard to capture. It looks different in daylight, different under artificial light and in the sun. I just want to call it foxy red but I guess that's not really perfect description for it :) The formula was again easy to apply with great pigmentation. I'm wearing two thin coats and no topcoat.

Queen Of Scots - deep, rich royal blue shimmer. Oh wow, what a stunning blue! This is a perfect winter vampy shade and I absolutely love it! It is so glossy and smooth even without topcoat and the formula is opaque in one coat. I'm wearing two thin coats to get the best possible finish. It applied so nicely, I only have one thing to say about it - just get it while you can!

I really don't know what to say and not sound like I'm fan-girling over this collection. It's full of awesome colours with excellent formulas so that's really all you need to know. This collection is another 'nail world' masterpiece and I just don't understand how Adina does it. If A England can have such perfect formulas why can't other brands??? A England sets a very high standard for polishes (at least in my eyes) and they are totally worth the price, even better when there is a promotion running.

Elizabeth & Mary collection and all the others are available at www.a-england.co.uk and will be soon at various international stocklists.

Have a lovely day and stay polished! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

So after the last self-doubting post you've assured me that you like my collection swatch posts so hang onto your hats, here's a big one! I'm talking about the amazing I Love Nail Polish Fall Collection 2014! I must admit it took me ages to do swatches for this collection because there were not many sunny days for me to swatch the holographic polishes so I had to wait...and wait... and wait. But it's finally done and I love the colours and I'm sure you will love them too.

The collection consists of 11 shades - 1 multichrome, 3 holographic multichromes and 7 holographic polishes.

Abundance - rich bronze brown base with shifts through golds, greens and red. It is indeed 'Fall in the bottle'! I foolishly didn't pay much attention to this polish and swatched it last as I thought of it as uninteresting colour but wow - once I put two coats of this goodness on my nails I knew how wrong I was! The colour is so vivid and beautiful and the colour shift is strong. Absolute stunner! Two coats were fully opaque and glossy and I experienced a very light streaking. Fortunately the streaks were hardly visible after I applied topcoat.

Masquerade (H) - purple base with a strong shift through greens, browns, pink and copper with a subtle holographic effect. The holo effect is not very strong, it's more like a sprinkled stardust on the nails. Masquerade (H) is another gorgeous multichrome that I really liked. It's quite unusual and it had good formula too. It applied well and two coats were fully opaque. The streaking was very, very subtly so with a bit of patience you can achieve beautiful finish. I'm wearing topcoat as well.

Peace (H) - blue base colour with shifts through purples, pink and burnt orange and with holographic effect. This shade will be especially great for the winter season thanks to the many shades of blue it shifts through. I've applied two thicker coats for full coverage. The polish was little streaky so I had to pay attention to the brush strokes when I was applying the second coat. I'm wearing topcoat.

Bishop (H) - olive green base with shift through golds, greens and grey-ish blues and with subtle holographic effect. Bishop looks like you have those beautiful beetles on your nails with extra sprinkle of holo particles. So pretty! This polish was a bit sheerer so I needed two thicker coat but if applied over black you would need just one coat. It's also a bit streaky just like any other multichrome but nothing major. I'm wearing topcoat as well.

Fall Semester - vivid teal holographic shade. Fall Semester is quite dark shade of teal with strong holo effect and good formula. All I needed were two coats and topcoat for perfect finish. It applied very easily. I didn't wear it very long so I don't know if it stains in the long run. However I didn't experience any staining after 2 hours.

Homecoming - eggplant purple holographic shade with gold particles. Homecoming is cool-toned and beautifully rich colour with a very strong holo effect. In the shade it's still quite colourful and the gold particles peek through the purple base but in the sun the colour transforms into a purple rainbow. It applied very well and two coats were fully opaque. The polish stained a bit.

Black Orchid - burgundy purple holographic shade. Ok guys, if you get a single polish from this collection, this is IT! I absolutely adore red-Toned purples and this one is absolutely stunning! The formula was flawless, easy to apply and opaque in two coats. It dried fast and glossy, just perfect.

Atomic Sherbet - peachy orange holographic with gold micro flakes. I would guess this as more of a Summery colour and unfortunately I didn't feel this one. The formula was good to apply but sheer. I've had to apply three coats for this coverage. It dried ok and glossy.

Mega (L) - pure linear holographic. Yeah, you heard me right, pure holo polish! The resulting colour is silver-ish grey in the shade and stunning holo rainbow in the sun. Mega (L) holographic particles are very fine, finer than in the original Mega polish. It applied well and two thicker coats were opaque. I'm wearing topcoat as well.

Iconic - rose gold champagne holographic shade. Iconic is so sophisticated and super gorgeous indoors as well as in the sun. I'm surprised how much I liked it actually. At first glance it might look boring but it's nothing but and those subtly gold micro-flakes are cute. Formula was very nice to work with and I needed just two coats for full coverage. It dried fast and I applied topcoat as well.

Champagne Blush - vintage rose pink holographic shade with gold undertones. Champagne Blush is pretty, girly but also subtle. The holo effect is strong and indoors the polish is very office-friendly. It applied well and it's nicely pigmented. I'm wearing two coats and topcoat.

This collection is in one word 'EPIC'! There are so many absolutely stunning polishes. My top favourites are Black Orchid, Abundance and Iconic but almost all of them are stunners. They all had great formula that was opaque in two coats except Atomic Sherbet which was opaque in three coats. It's really great collection, Barbra is a genius I tell you!

You can get these polishes at I Love Nail Polish website. As usual, each bottle holds 12ml and has matte rubberized cap. All polishes are also 3-free.

Hope you've enjoyed this quite frankly exhausting review ;) I love the polishes so I'm glad I got the chance to review them. Once again thank you all so much for the kind words and support in the past post, it means a lot and you've inspired me to do so much more! Have a good weekend everyone! Lucie x
