Hello lovelies,

Today I want to show you a new accessory to complement my bold manicures - a Soufeel Charm Bracelet. Soufeel is a jewellery brand founded in 2011 and they sell affordable silver bracelets and charms as well as other jewellery. I was able to choose a bracelet and four beautiful charms to show you. The choice wasn't easy because Soufeel offers hundreds of charms and I could easily fill up the whole bracelet.

Charm bracelets became very popular in the past few years thanks to the Pandora brand and I quite like the idea of getting gifted charms on different occasions and then have a very meaningful piece of jewellery. I've read that Soufeel charms are compatible with Pandora bracelets as well so you can add these charms to your existing Pandora bracelet just fine.

As first four charms I have chosen a cute duck that reminds me of rubber duck toys, Libra sign which is my sign of course, a silver heart with wise words Live Laugh Love and a beautiful Engraved heart charm that I loved at first sight.

Both bracelet and charms seem to be nicely crafted and I can feel the weight of silver so they are not hollowed out with potential to be crushed (only the engraved heart is hollow but that's of course on purpose). The packaging is nicely thought through as well. My bracelet came with a branded bag and a lovely hard box with big pale blue bow and company logo. That really made it that much special and if this is a gift for a loved one, there is no need to add extra gift wrap.

One thing I'd like to point out to anyone thinking about getting a charm bracelet - make sure you choose the base bracelet large enough. I made a mistake of measuring my wrist and not counting the curvature of the bracelet plus some extra room for charms so my bracelet is quite tight on the sides. Always allow 1-2 cm extra.

Hope you've enjoyed today's review and if you're wondering about my nails, the next post will be dedicated to that manicure ;)

Have a lovely day! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

So I FINALLY edited a video tutorial for alcohol ink marble manicure. It's been waiting for editing since Easter...I know, I'm that bad!

We've all seen marble manicures or nail tips with beautiful alcohol ink marble but all that I have seen have been over gel polish. That is fine but not all of us wear gel polish and the alcohol inks behave quite differently on nail polish/topcoat. Firstly, let's have a look at the final manicure (without final topcoat as I stamped over it later - mistake!)....

I have found that you can easily wipe off the ink from gel polish but you can't do it on nail polish, it kind of stains it. Plus if you don't use topcoat or if you're doing too many layers and playing with it too long, the nail polish underneath starts to kind of melt and smear. I don't know why but it happened to me more than once. With gel polish you can play with the ink and layer it as much as you like.

Also I wasn't able to create that perfect marble effect over nail polish. The ink doesn't seem to move and seep into each other etc. just like it can do on gel polish. But I will definitely keep trying to translate the beauty of alcohol inks on nails! One thing I want to point out though - alcohol inks nor Sharpies are NOT made for cosmetic use so technically we shouldn't be using them. But unless you get too much on your skin you should be fine.

Here's a tutorial of how I did this gradient marble manicure. I have used all 7 inks I own in Espresso, Ginger, Cranberry, Red Pepper, Raspberry, Purple Twilight, Denim and Pool.

I hope you've enjoyed today's post and don't forget to let me know what you think and what is your experience with alcohol in nail art.

Have a lovely day! Lucie x
