Hello lovelies,

Yes it's true, Winter is almost here and it looks like it's going to be a cold one here in UK. I'm already 'armed' with lots of warm jumpers and chic red winter coat and I have quite a few Wintery manicures coming. I'm not really feeling Christmas this year and I really lack some inspiration and unique ideas so I don't think there will be any Christmas designs, sorry. I just really like to do something new rather than repeat somebody else's ideas.

The manicure I'll show you today is very cute one and I created it specifically to go with my pink jumper I wore for Nailartists UK meet up. I met so many lovely ladies that day in London and each one of them had super cute manicure on! But about it later on...

So I started this manicure with three coats of Zoya Dot on all fingers but my ring fingers. Three coats because the polish was quite sheer and patchy :( I prepped the ring finger nails with OPI Peel Off Base coat because later on I painted them with the mind-blowing Cirque Mirror Mirror (back in stock early January).

On some nails I combined Dot and Mirror Mirror into shiny metallic gradient which I absolutely loved! I stamped the remaining nails with a subtle pattern from the MoYou London Festive 03 plate. I think those are like simple poinsettia flowers but I'm not sure. I've seen this pattern on jumpers and it just works so well and evokes Winter to me.

And then there was the meet up...

There were 10 of us at the meet up with couple of ladies coming later. It was so great to meet other bloggers and to get to know them a bit - who am I talking about? Well you'll probably know them by their IG usernames, they were @nailsbynemo, @nailsbydaniellet, @tillynailart, @falguni_nails, @enamelled, @charsnails, @lacqueredlondon, @cassgooner, @polishedbymaria. These are great and talented ladies so check them out!

We've been lucky to have Nailc Inc sponsoring our meet up so we've had little goodie bags waiting for us with a glitter polish in Snowflake and the new Kale base and top coats. Thank you Nails Inc ;)

That's all from me today, don't forget to check out my past posts if you haven't already and have a good day!

Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

Pueen Cosmetics has launched new set of stamping plates called Buffet Leisure on 4th December 2014. I'm lucky enough to be able to review this set and show it to you.

The Buffet Leisure set features 24 fully-etched plates and an attractive plate holder. My plate holder came in pink colour but I've read there are some different colours available and are sent out randomly. I'm really glad the plate holder/case comes with them because I don't have to worry about storing and losing plates. The case keeps them safely stored together. Let's have a look at the case and plates:

I just couldn't get nice photos of the plates so I ended up scanning them so you could see all the pretty design you'll get in this set. There are some geometric, floral, abstract and themed designs. I find it to be a nice variety. All plates are nicely etched and after removing the blue protective foil and inspecting them I didn't find any etching problems.

Pueen Says:

"Each plate measures about 1.8" (5.5cm in diameter) with sanded edges for easy, comfortable handling and a protective nylon screen. All image plates are made from high grade stainless steel and are paper backed to prevent scratching during storage.

We call this STAMPING BUFFET as you may stamp where ever you like! We call this ALL YOU CAN STAMP as you will create infinite designs with your imagination! This set brings a totally new concept of the stamping nail arts. While each plate is fully etched, the idea of Stamping Buffet is coming from where you may stamp where ever on the plate as you like. This will allow our plates to create infinite designs with your imaginations."

Here are couple of examples of designs stamped on nails:

The plates I've tried so far (I've tried more that these two designs) stamped very well and they appear to be nicely done and good quality. I really like the protective paper back and the fact that they don't have sharp edges.

Pueen Buffet Leisure Stamping Set is available at their website for $20.99.

Hope you've enjoyed today's review and have a lovely day! Lucie x
