Hello lovelies,

Barry M is releasing a brand new nail polish line called Speedy Quick Dry and today I'll show you two of the new colours - Kiss Me Quick and Eat My Dust.

There are 9 pastel shades released in total and this collection also features new flat and rounded brush. The big feature of this line is a speed-drying formula paired up with racing-themed caps and names.

Both Barry M Kiss Me Quick (baby pink) and Eat My Dust (pale blue) had the same formula. They applied nicely but I had to work fast. The formula really is fast-drying so 3-4 brush strokes is more than enough otherwise the polish can get patchy. I needed three coats for full coverage which was a bit disappointing for me. I finished off with a coat of the new Plumpy topcoat. I actually really like the Plumpy topcoat - it goes on smoothly and gives glossy gel-like finish. It dried fast but it takes a while to harden properly so you'll still need to let your nails dry for a bit. Massive plus for me with this topcoat is that it didn't smear stamping!

This new flat and rounded brush really made it easy for me to get a round line alongside my cuticles so I imagine many of you might appreciate it.

Have a lovely day! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

I recon it's time for another nail art manicure with tutorial ;) I wanted something abstract so I created flower-like patterns made out of lines. My inspiration was a print I once seen on Etsy but it's been so long I couldn't find it again.

I have used Zoya Cole as a base colour and then acrylic paints for the design and dots. All sealed with Seche Vite topcoat.

And here is the promised tutorial. I have done it with a different brush as I couldn't find the one I originally did the manicure with so the lines are a bit thicker. But it will still show you how I've created this design :)

Few lines and dots and how cool it looks, huh? I really liked this design and that's why I additionally created a tutorial. It could be done with nail art pen or polish but the acrylic paint is just much easier to work with.

Have a lovely day and let me know what you think ;) Lucie x
