I've got another British polish review for you! Today it's Barry M Crush, a dark red matte from the Autumn Matte collection. The whole Matte collection consists of 5 shades and I have already shown you swatches of Barry M Caramel and Vanilla.

Crush is matte but slightly leaning towards satin finish; I was expecting a proper matte I must admit. Nevertheless it's a pretty shade and you can still play with the matte/glossy effect.

The formula was very well pigmented so all I needed were two thin coats. It dried fast and the application was smooth and streak-free. I would still advice you to work fast to avoid any patching even though I haven't experienced any. Because this polish is not worn with topcoat, leave it to dry and harden for longer than usual to avoid dents.

I know it's 24th today but for me Christmas Eve has always been the main day of Christmas as it's celebrated in Czech Republic that way. So that's why today is my main Christmas post and tomorrow I'm taking a break because I'll be celebrating the holidays the English way ;) I'm quite sad I won't have the proper Czech Christmas with all the traditions but at least I'll celebrate it twice - today and tomorrow :)

Of course I didn't forget to prepare some nails for today. It's a classic and Christmas appropriate red - Barielle Dinner At 8.

Dinner At 8 is a beautiful shade with crelly (half jelly, half creme) formula. It is very jelly-ish therefore the pigmentation is lower. I've applied two thick coats but it was still not perfect and I could see my nail line. I've finished off with a coat of fast-drying topcoat.
