Hello lovelies,

I've got here another new SpaRitual polish from the Quest collection called Beyond.

About the collection:

"Six dramatic and highly textured nail lacquers offer a complex though optimistic view of what we might find as we head out into the world. Multiple layers of glitter and color reflect the emotions we face as we set out on our own personal journey to find abundance, knowledge and acceptance. Join us. Be fearless. Quest Glitter Special Edition Collection"

Beyond - black jelly base with silver hex glitter and round and hex magenta glitter. The black jelly base isn't hugely pigmented so I have applied one coat of Beyond over black polish. It applied lovely and without troubles and you can see how much glitter you get in one coat. It dried a bit gritty so topcoat is a must.

Beyond is such a lovely mix, it completely suits the name. I think it is better layered because if two or three coats were applied I think the surface would be too gritty. I've also applied matte topcoat and it looked really cool but I had some white specks in the matte topcoat which destroyed the look so no pics, sorry. Try it for yourself ;)

SpaRitual Quest collection and other polishes are available at Sparitual (UK), Feelunique.com and SpaRitual (US)

Have a lovely day! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

Have you seen the new A England polish yet? It is called Hurt No Living Thing and it's an addition to the Heavenly Quotes line. I will be pairing it up with re-released version of Excalibur, now renamed to Excalibur (Renaissance).

Hurt No Living Thing is a sheer grey-ish base with fine magenta shimmer and a bit of blue shimmer. It is designed to be layered over other polishes and it's nicely buildable.

The formula was easy to work with and not very thick so even when layered, the polish doesn't create thick layer. It dries fast and glossy without streaky finish. I've layered Hurt No Living Thing over Camelot to show how opaque the polish is in one or two coats.

I'm really glad that the original Excalibur (silver metallic colour) is being re-released. It's my favourite silver polish and I use it for nail art and stamping because of its excellent pigmentation. Hurt No Living Thing might not look amazing over lighter polishes but it certainly comes to life over darker base and it's a nice addition to the A England family.

A England polishes including Camelot used in the last photo, are available at A England website and their stocklists.
