Hello lovelies,

How was your Christmas Day everyone? Well mine was horrible and lovely at the same time. The Christmas itself was lovely, my fiancé’s family great, we got nice presents and ate good food BUT late in the Christmas Eve I started to develop a cold...really bad cold. It kept me up all night and I felt really crappy and it just didn't get any better during the Christmas day. The fact that I didn't get more than half an hour of sleep didn't help either :( And to top it up - when I got home I broke off a corner of my nail on the car door! Lovely... I wonder what will happen today...

That's enough of me ranting, let's talk about today's nail post. Christmas is not completely over yet but New Years is just around the corner. So this is the first in a row of New Year's nail art posts and I hope you'll enjoy them!

This nail design is very simple to do! Start with painting your nails with dark sparkly blue nail polish. I have used one coat of Color Club Williamsburg over OPI Incognito In Sausalito.

When dry, use silver stamping or metallic polish and either freehand or stamp thin short and long lines coming from cuticles. I have used Bundle Monster BM-319 stamping plate and A England Excalibur.

The next steps are to add some silver dots using the same silver polish and dotting tool and seal the design with top coat.

It was inspired by those waterfall fireworks and I really like how it came out. What do you think?

Hello lovelies,

I have to confess to something - every time a big holiday comes I have an artist's block and I just can't think of any original ideas. I don't like to copy, I like to create something new and that's hard when you know there is a 'deadline' coming. I have one specifically 'Christmassy' post coming but it just seems to me that everything has been done before :-/

Today's manicure has Winter theme and I absolutely fell in love with the cosy and soft look. I usually don't wear lavender colours as I feel they don't suit me but I loved this look!

I have used China Glaze Sweet Hook as a base colour, then added multi-coloured glitter (China Glaze Your Present Required) to all but one nail. I created a snowflake accent finger using Bundle Monster BM-323 and A England Excalibur.

I hope you like it and have a great day!
