Hi there! I got my first silver crackling polish! I went to Boots and big surprise - they had Models Own Silver crackling polish! I picked up one and here are some swatches.

I don't have the OPI Silver Shatter yet but from swatches on other blogs I can tell you that they are very different. Models Own is less shimmery, more grey/silver and is really pigmented. It also crackles less than OPI Silver Shatter.

Models Own Smash-Up Silver starts to crackle straight after application so be quick and colour the part of the nail only once! It dries reasonably fast. The bottle has 14ml and full price is £6. I paid less as I've used Boots offer 3 for 2. I will definitely buy OPI Silver Shatter as I think it's prettier but this one is quite interesting as well.

So what do you think? Do you prefer Models Own or OPI?

Hello lovelies! No nail art today, just some swatches :)

I swatched OPI Teenage Dream over The One That Got Away to see nicely the glitters. I liked the combination. Teenage Dream was a little bit thicker so I had a little trouble to spread the glitter evenly. Otherwise it was ok - it dried quickly but you have to use a topcoat to get rid of the sharp glittery finish.

It is a really nice combination and overally I think that Katy Perry Collection is my second favourite after Burlesque.
