Hello lovelies,

Sorry for not being more active here, I'm currently preparing for holidays and work is very busy as well! At least I'm sticking I'm sticking to the ABC Challenge for now. I will have some very cool guest posts from other nail bloggers to show you during August so stay tuned ;)

This week's letter for the ABC Challenge is 'L' so I have painted lilies on my nails! It was a very laborious and time-consuming task but I absolutely love the result! I probably should have just stick to one or two nails to save some time (well, hours..) but what's done is done! Let's check out my lilies...

I went for those beautiful oriental lilies with pink colour and 'freckles'. In real life I'm not a huge fan of lilies because they stink to me and give me a bad hayfever but otherwise I admire those beautiful blooms. And having them on my nails is safe :)

I started with painted nails - I already had two coats of A England Kalinka on and I did a dry brush technique over it with A England Polovetsian Dances and Waltz Of The Flowers. Both polishes are from the latest A England Russian Soul collection. Then I painted the lilies from scratch with acrylic paints. Lastly, I've sealed the nail art with Sienna Byron Bay Lightning Top Coat.

So what do YOU think of this nail art and my hand painted lilies? :) Don't forget to check out manicures from other challenge participants and have a great weekend everyone! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

How are you all? I'm feeling good, saw Bill Bailey live couple days ago and it was such fun! For those who don't know who Bill Bailey is, he's a British comedian, actor and also a talented musician :)

Another month has passed and it's time for Paint All The Nails nail art challenge! This month's theme is ANIMAL PRINT and I'm doing FAWN PRINT NAILS! I wanted to do these for years and now I finally had a reason. It was a super rush job as I did them last night, I didn't want to miss this challenge.

So let's have a look at what I've created...

Here's how I did the nails:

Firstly I've painted all nails with a coat of OPI A-Piers To Be Tan. Then I sponged on Zoya Louise, Nyssa, Spencer and OPI A-Piers To Be Tan on all nails creating a rough gradient that mimics the fawn's fur. Then I've used white acrylic paint and tiny nail art brush and painted on the spots. I wanted them to look realistic so each spot is feathered so it looks a bit like fur. I hope I did a good job :) All is sealed with Sienna Byron Bay Lightning Top Coat. This is a brand new top coat I'm testing and so far I'm loveing it! It didn't smudge the design, dried super fast and didn't shrink the polish. So far so good, review will come soon!

The manicure itself from start to finish took about 2 hours (one hand) so it was quite time-consuming but I'm loving the result and enjoying wearing it. I hope you like it too and let me know what you think of the tutorial!

Have a lovely day and check out the animal print manicures from other bloggers below and the hashtag #paintallthenailsanimalprint on social media :)
