nail art - Lucy's Stash

hope you're all well! I've been naughty and bought some HEX Nail Jewellery but thanks to the low price of the charms it wasn't a big dent in my budget ;)

For this manicure I have used Zoya Giovanna (reviewed here), Zoya Kerry, make up sponge, striping tape and HEX charm Turtle no.2.

I started with two coats of Zoya Giovanna and topcoat. Once the topcoat dried I have applied striping tape in two diagonal directions creating the mesh/diamond shape. Then I used a makeup sponge and dabbed Zoya Kerry over the striping tape creating a gradient. Once I was happy with the amount of gold I removed the striping tape and repeated the process on the next nail. As a final step I applied topcoat and placed the turtle charm on the ring finger.

Happy Guy Fawkes Day! I hope that it won't rain tonight so I can go out to a firework display. Are you going to see some fireworks? It's quite new celebration to me and I like it. I was used to seeing fireworks just at New Years but here in Britain it's twice a year, I love it!

As every year, I forgot about Guy Fawkes Day/Night so I didn't prepare special manicure so I have here a textured zebra print design. I have used OPI Silent Stars Go By Liquid Sand as a base and OPI Lady In Black for the freehand zebra print.
