Hope you all enjoyed the weekend! I've been swatching the pile of new polishes like mad but I'm nowhere near finished :) Meanwhile I'll show you a simple manicure using two new Illamasqua polishes Charisma and Creator. You can see the review and full swatches of these two polishes here.

Firstly, I painted my nails with Charisma (which is stunning by the way) and then I applied two pieces of tape leaving a gap. Then I painted over the gap creating the diagonal stripe. I haven't used a topcoat just to keep the plastic look Creator did.

I really like the clash of finishes here - perfectly shiny and smooth Charisma versus gritty and glittery Creator.

I'm still not over the gorgeous Zoya collections for fall so I've done another manicure with them. This is my first stab at 'ikat' design. It's not perfect but next time I'll try to do better :)

I've used Zoya Natty, Bevin, Monica and OPI Alpine Snow for this manicure.
