nail art - Lucy's Stash

Hello lovelies,

When I was swatching A England The Blessed Damozel (reviewed here) I couldn't just leave it alone so I've created a stamped nail art over it. Silver seemed a perfect match and A England Excalibur stamps beautifully. I have used a baroque-like pattern from Uber Chic 1-03 plate to stamp the design. Then I've layered one coat of Merlin over The Blessed Damozel on the rest of the nails.

I think that the photos came out beautifully and I love how good the purple looks with metallic silver. It was incredibly hard to narrow it down to the photos you've just seen, I started with a shortlist of approximately 20 photos! What do you think?

Hello lovelies,

It's nail art time! This time I wanted to do something really simple but elegant so I chose that classic look of ruffian manicure. What is not classic are the colours I picked. Bronze and copper colours are really 'IN' right now and All That Jazz Living In Luxury ticks all the boxes for me. And it wouldn't be a ruffian design without another, contrasting colour. I picked blue-green Own It also from All That Jazz.

I start with two coats of Own It - paint whole nail and as close to the cuticle as you can. Once the polish is dry apply Living in Luxury in the same way only don't push the polish as much towards the cuticle and leave a bit of Own It peaking out. I think I've left around 1-1,5 millimetres.
Topcoat and you're done!

Own It reviewed here, Living In Luxury reviewed here. I found an old bead necklace from Primark that I've had forever that went quite well with the manicure ;) What do you think?
