Hello lovelies,

Hope you've all had a great weekend! Sunday was exceptionally sunny which I used to swatch holo polishes. And of course today it's cloudy again *imagine my grumpy face*.

A while ago I've created this manicure that didn't make it to the blog until today and I wasn't even sure if I should publish it. It was inspired by this picture which has been going around for years but it isn't watermarked so I have no idea where it came from.

EDIT: It is supposed to be a CND promo picture but I wtill wasn't able to locate original location

I have used with SpaRitual Intention, A England Camelot and OPI Alpine Snow.

And this is the manicure without the dots that has been inspired by the picture mentioned above however I've put the stripe on the thumb on the other side of the nail to continue the pattern...

So that's all for today! Let me know if you know where the original inspiration came from and I'll happily credit.

Have a lovely day and send me some sunshine ;) Lucie xoxo

Hello lovelies,

I'm excited to tell you about a new nail project I'm part of - Nailvengers Assemble! Just to tell you a bit more about it...it's five girls doing one theme at the end of each month. This month the theme is New Year, New Technique which is quite self-explanatory. Each of us will do a new technique to us. For me it's stamping decals which I'm a newbie to.

Joining me in the challenge will be Sammy (The Nailasaurus), Alice (One Nail To Rule Them All), Allie (Brit Nails) and Amelia (xAmeliax)....pretty damn good girls!

So here's the stamping decals manicure I've created:

Nailvengers Assemble! - New Year, New Technique
Nailvengers Assemble! - New Year, New Technique
Nailvengers Assemble! - New Year, New Technique
Nailvengers Assemble! - New Year, New Technique

For this design I have used A England polishes Encore Margot, Camelot and Guinevere and Seche Vite topcoat but it is better if you use thinner and not fast drying topcoat as those won't be as stiff. I've learned this information after I created this mani and tutorials so that's why I'm using Seche Vite. The stamping plate I've used is MoYou London Sailor Collection 05 (XL).

Now there are different methods of creating and applying stamping decals and I guess you'll just have to find the one that suits you best. I have prepared video tutorial for three methods so hope it will help you master the decals!

I've chosen a subtle colour scheme but with the stamping decals technique you can go as wild colour-wise as you want and even every single part of the design can be in different shade. How awesome would that be!?!

So that's all to it. If you recreate any of our manicures then please use #nailvengers, we would love to see it! You can also follow us on Facebook:

I hope you've enjoyed the manicure and tutorials and please check out the other blog entries from girls:
