Hello lovelies,

As a first guest post, I've chosen Hannah from Dalai Lama's Nails because up until recently I didn't know her blog well and she certainly deserves your attention. Hannah does everything from regular swatches to nail art manicures so definitely check out her blog!

It's so exciting to be guest posting for Lucy's Stash today! My name is Hannah, and I blog over at The Dalai Lama's Nails. I love all things polish and art - so Lucie has obviously been one of my role models. Her freehand nail art is truly beautiful, and I am so often inspired by her creativity. I hope she's off enjoying her vacation!

When I was in high school, I used to doodle a lot. I always did these very abstract combinations of color and shape - but it always started with triangles! When I went to university, though, I started taking notes on a computer, and so I forgot about my love of doodling. Nail art has reawakened my love of the abstract, of fitting shapes together and combining colors in just the right way.

Today's nail art is based on my old notebook doodles! I used a fine detailing nail art brush, and just went to town over a nude base. I don't know about you, but I am still loving negative space manicures! I used Essie Butler Please, Watermelon, Mojito Madness, and Fear or Desire to create a bright, summery doodle. I sealed it all in with a coat of Seche Vite.

Thanks for having me, Lucie!

Hello lovelies,

So I'm officially on holiday and this is my last post! From today I will be publishing guest posts from very talented bloggers that I'm sure you'll recognize :)

Today's post is the regular Nailvengers Assemble nail art challenge and this month's theme is Glitter Placement Nail Art! Joining me in the challenge will be Sammy (The Nailasaurus), Allie (Brit Nails) and Amelia (xAmeliax) and I hope you'll check their amazing manicures. Alice (One Nail To Rule Them All) will not be joining us this month.

I've decided to put a spin on my mermaid glitter nails and do a neon pink & purple gradient with opalescent glitter. I've used SpaRitual Vivid, Jubilee, White Light and glitter :)

I've also prepared a video tutorial for this design. It's a bit longer process so I've speeded it up a bit but you'll get the gist ;) The whole manicure took about three hours but I was watching (well...more like listening) TV so it wasn't boring.

I know this is very time-consuming and not for everyone but I love to create these complicated designs. I hope you've enjoyed the pictures and video and please don't forget to support my YouTube channel and subscribe :)

Check out last month's post if you've missed it >> click here. If you recreate any of our manicures then please use #nailvengers, we would love to see it! You can also follow us on Facebook:

And just to remind you - The voting for Cosmo blog awards is open! I would be very grateful if you would find few minutes and give me your vote in this year's Cosmopolitan Blog Awards. I'm in the very first category - Best Established Beauty Blog (Lucy's Stash of course) ;) You can or don't have to vote in each category, you can just keep pressing the next button to get to the end. Also you don't have to live in UK to vote. Thank you SOOO MUCH! xx Please vote here!

Have a lovely day! Lucie x
