Hello lovelies,

It hasn't been that long since my piCture pOlish collaboration shade Dragonfly has been released and of course I had to try and do some dragonfly nail art with it. It didn't came out as I imagined but I still want to share it with you. I wanted to incorporate different mediums into this design so you'll see nail polish, rhinestones, foil and acrylic paint.

So yeah, that's my try of an alternative dragonfly :) I have used piCture pOlish Dragonfly as a base colour, nail foil glue and holo silver nail foil, black acrylic paint and Dance Legend polishes from the multichrome Chameleon range. I think I've used Knight, Boo and Wazowski. And lastly, I have used silver crystals that I got from Light In The Box - they are very sparkly and are a great value.

You can find a review & swatches of Dragonfly in the sun HERE.

You can purchase your bottle of piCture pOlish Dragonfly directly at www.picturepolish.com.au or at one of the international stockists: http://picturepolish.com.au/network. For the UK customers, the shops that will carry Dragonfly are Rainbow Connection and Sally Magpies.

If you already own Dragonfly, please share with me your manicures through #lucysstash I'd love to see them!

Have a great weekend ahead! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

Hope you're all well and looking forward to the holidays! I feel like I've been slacking with posting lately but on the other hand I'm preparing quite a few tutorials for this blog and for Lucy's Stash PRO!

For today's post I've prepared another gold foil nail art so I hope you'll like it.

I've started with two coats of Color Club Apple Of My Eye. Then I've used a fluffy brush to apply foil glue in random streaks. I wanted to achieve uneven and broken up look. Once the glue dried and was completely clear I pressed the gold foil on the nail. Then I've sealed the foil with Dance Legend AquaGenetic.

Lastly, I've put on nails some cute rose nail charms from The Sparkly Shop! Laura, the owner of the shop is a fellow nail blogger and very dear to me and she has offered an exclusive discount to you, my readers! Use code LUCY15 for 15% discount. The Sparkly Shop has all the different glitters for glitter placement, nail charms and more, a heaven for nail addicts :D

Color Club Apple Of My Eye* is a stunning red-based berry purple, I absolutely adore these colours! It looks vampy and beautiful by itself and I really liked it on my nails. The formula was easy to apply but the pigmentation was a bit lower. I've applied two thicker coats but three would be even better. Apple Of My Eye is a part of the new Made In New York collection.

Color Club polishes are available at their website and pretty much everywhere in drug stores and online so I'm sure you won't have troubles finding them.

Have a lovely day! Lucie x
