Hello lovelies,

I'm so glad I'm back home and can start blogging and swatching again! I didn't have any time at all to do anything around blog other than publish the amazing guest posts (you must check them out!) so I feel like I neglected you a bit. But I'm back now and I've decided to show you some pictures from my two-week holiday which was again in Czech Republic (CR)!

The first sight-seeing trip was to Brno, the second largest city in CR. It is very close to where we were (my fiancée & I) staying and we go there every time. First sight we went to was iconic Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul towering over the city. We went inside and we also climbed to the top from which there was a beautiful view.

Next on our programme was a festival called Kryštof Kemp. I won't bother you with too many details but I'll explain what it is. Basically, one of the biggest Czech bands called Kryštof has created its own music festival. There were other bands and singers performing there but Kryštof was the star of the whole festival. What made it so special is that each band member had their own tent with a different activity so you could come there and learn to play a song on a guitar or drums, learn to cook some special meal, draw your own beer etc. Also people were able to ask for photos and autographs the whole day. I managed to get photos and my hat signed by all members. YAY!

I absolutely loved it and the idea and that it was whole family friendly, not overpriced and overcrowded and we were able to be so close to the band members. I had a blast!...and no, it wasn't because of the mojitos ;)

If you would like to see some videos from the festival, mostly performances, I've uploaded them here.

The next trip was to Prague. I don't know how many of you have visited Prague but I love it! It's so beautiful and picturesque plus I got engaged there last year on the Charles Bridge ;)

Here are some pictures from Prague...

I trust you don't mind that I've sneaked in some photos of me ;) I wouldn't want you to forget how I look since you usually see just my nails! I literally have a thousand of pictures so it was so hard to narrow it down to a reasonable number but I strongly suggest you visit Prague and Czech Republic if you ever get a chance. The food and beer is great and sights are unique and beautiful, you'll just have to be patient with the people as not everyone speaks English and waiters & shop staff are often grumpy :D

I hope you didn't miss me too much and have enjoyed all the guest posts my fellow bloggers have prepared for you and stay tuned for some nails!

Have a lovely day! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

I'm so so happy that I can welcome Lindsey from Wondrously Polished here at Lucy's Stash! I absolutely love her creative designs and especially her floral print manis. Today's design is another stunner and Lindsey's blog definitely deserves a visit!

Hello, all! I'm Lindsey from Wondrously Polished and I'm incredibly honored and excited to get to guest post for the lovely and talented Lucie today! I know we're all missing her manis since she's on holiday, but hopefully you won't mind my stopping by and sharing a look in her stead :)

My mani today was a bit of a no brainer as I knew I wanted to paint a floral design. I love painting vintage inspired looks with a funky yet modern twist, so I knew I wanted to create something that incorporated those element. Floral print has come a long way since your mom's ugly sofa and I enjoy using updated color schemes to give new life to vintage inspired patterns.

For today's look, I stumbled upon a fantastic fabric print created by Elizabeth Olwen and knew I wanted to give it a shot almost immediately. I think her print is very indicative of the style of nail art I typically like to create so it felt very fitting for today's guest post.

For this look, I started with a base of OPI's My Boyfriend Scales Walls (aka, the best off-white around!) and used a teeny tiny trimmed detail brush to add the floral print. For any curious minds out there, the blue and orange are American Apparel's Mount Royal and Palm Springs, the teal is Essie's Ruffles & Feathers and the tan is an acrylic paint. I just love these shades together!

Thank you all so much for taking time to check out my post, and thanks again to Lucie for the opportunity! Feel free to check out my Facebook and Instagram pages to follow along with all my manis! Hope you all enjoyed this look and I'd love to hear what you think of it!

Happy Polishing :)
