Hello lovelies,

I'm on holiday again so I have asked some great nail bloggers to write a guest post for me (and for you). Today I have a super fun Snoopy manicure from talented Minnie from Nailbees blog. Minnie does all different nail art techniques and detailed nail art ant tutorials so I'm so happy to have her nails here today!

Hello! This is Minnie from Nailbees, nice to meet you!! I'm SO happy and honoured to be doing a guest post on Lucie's amazing blog today! I've been following and admiring Lucie since I started doing nail art, and it was like a dream when she gave me this opportunity :D My designs are not stylish or glamorous like Lucie's, but I'll do my best and I hope you like it!

So! What I have for you today is a hand painted summery Snoopy design.

For this design, I started off with a mint blue polish and a sheer white polish as the base (both polishes are my frankens). And then, I hand painted the Snoopy and watermelons using acrylic paint. I used Neon Orange from Beyond The Nail, and Sizzle from Picture Polish to create the stripes on the index and pinky.

I live in Australia and we're in the middle of winter at the moment. It is cold everyday and I'm looking like a cocoon wrapped in a blanket right now (lol). But this nail art reminded me of the nice warm weather of summer and made me happy :)

Thank you very much for your time reading my post today. It is such an honour to be seen by Lucie's awesome followers! THANK YOU Lucie for this wonderful opportunity :D I hope you're having lots of fun right now!!

Thank you Minnie for such amazing guest post! I absolutely adore the hand painted designs, you've done such a great job! And you all, check out Minnie's blog Nailbees and you can also follow her on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook.

Have a lovely day everyone! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

I have another nail art challenge to stick to, a weekly ABC Challenge! This one is run by Emily from Nail Polish Society so if you'd like to find out more and join, visit her blog.

This week's letter is 'M' and I suspect I won't be the only one who will choose marble as their topic. This particular manicure of mine is water marble - my nemesis! I've tried it once before many years ago and it was a complete fail and since then I hated and admired the techniques. I wanted to try it again and since it wasn't a complete fail , I want to share it with you :)

I've done this manicure with Models Own Soft Pop collection so all of the colours are pastel neons. I've marbled over two coats of the pink Candyfloss.

I chose too shallow container to dip my nails into (it was Gu pudding glass pot) so I have couple of spots where I touched the bottom but other than that I was very pleased with the pattern and how it came out. I didn't want a single pattern on all nails so I just played around and did each nail differently.

I absolutely loved how these nails looked under UV light, so super glowy!

I liked my first successful watermarble but there's so much I still need to improve! How are your watermarbling skills? What do you think of this manicure? Let me know in the comments ;)

Have a lovely day! Lucie x
