A while ago I've received a MASH Matte Polish so I've been playing with it for a bit. I was quite excited to try it because after using up my Essie Matte About You I was looking for the best matte topcoat.

MASH Matte Polish comes in a bottle with silver cup and the bottle has 15ml. This is the first time I've tried something from MASH Nails.

MASH Matte Polish provides very good matte effect. If I would compare Essie and MASH matte topcoats I'd say Essie creates a bit stronger matte finish. But if you will look at the pictures you'll see that MASH Matte Polish does the job too! I actually like it very much. It is not thick like Essie and it applies very well.

The matte effect doesn't show at first but as the polish dries it starts to dry matte. So let's have a look at the matte effect on some of my manicures:

I've had the opportunity to try Layla polishes for the first time. Today I have here 10 Magneffect shades. There is 24 (!) Magneffect shades in total which is a huge colour range! I already found some shades that I really like!

Layla is an Italian cosmetic beauty brand that produces everything from eyeshadows to nail polishes. Some of the other nail polish lines that really deserve a mention are the Mirror Effect and Hologram effect lines. They are just so pretty! But back to the Magneffect line - all polishes come with a magnet in the cap. The magnet is a straight line so if you will want waves, fishnet or star you'll need to buy Barry M, Nails Inc. or China Glaze polishes/magnets which you can use on these polishes too.

24 Starry Night - charcoal black and grey shades with gold glitter. This is one of my favourites, it looked so good! No topcoat.

01 Gun Metal - Grey shades ranging from silver to charcoal grey with subtle shimmer.

03 Blue Grey Flow - grey shades with blue undertones. The blue is not that strong in the grey as you can see.

04 Turquoise Wave - dark teal shades. Now this is another awesome shade! It's rich deep teal colour that changes from light teal to the darkest.

11 Silver Galaxy - silver and grey shades with silver glitter. Another unique and pretty shade that I liked very much!

12 Black Metal - dark grey mixed with almost black.

15 Glamour Lilac - purple and silver shades mixed with what appear to be glass flecks. Another unique and interesting shade!

22 Ruby Red - deep red with berry undertones. Lovely and rich shade that applied very well.

23 Chocolatte Mousse - cool-toned brown. This shade is quite dark with lighter areas where the magnets has been.

All Magneffect polishes had a very good and easy to work with formula. The pigmentation was high as with magnetic polishes you should use only one coat anyway. I liked the brush as well, it was wide enough and the bristles were good.

I think I would like to see more than one magnet pattern otherwise I really like the polishes. There are some pretty amazing and unique shades.
