Hello lovelies,

The the Mondays are now dedicated to the piCture pOlish brand and today I will show you Demeter. Demeter is a collaboration shade with Harlow & Co. nail polish store. When I got this shade I was quite baffled as to what to really do with it because I rarely wear browns but once I saw it in the direct sun I started to like it.

Demeter - dark brown base with scattered holographic particles. This shade looks different in the sun than in the artificial light. It appears warm and red-based in the sun but cool-toned brown in the artificial light. How interesting! It applied well despite being a bit runny and the pigmentation was good as well. I'm wearing two coats which were enough for good coverage. Polish dried fast but slightly gritty due to the holo particles so I've applied topcoat as well.

I have been waiting for A England Briarwood for some time as the production took longer than the rest of the Burne-Jones Dream collection. I've finally swatched it and it's so pretty!

Briarwood - red-based brown with scattered holographic particles. The brown is rich and warm and the holo particles are very subtle but become more prominent in the direct sunlight. It's a gorgeous shade with perfect formula! One coat was fully opaque but I did applied two coats to hide my slight ridges in the nails...but otherwise one coat is enough. It applied very easily and dried fast, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this little gem!
