Hello lovelies,

I'm very happy to say that Barry M has released a new Gelly collection for Autumn/Winter season and I have swatches! It consists of six new shades in mostly Autumn colours and is available right now.

So without further ado let's have a look at them!

Mustard - mustard or ochre (if you wish) yellow creme. When else to wear mustard yellow other than in the Autumn, right? Two coats were fully opaque and the formula was easy to apply. Not like some other older Gelly shades, this one didn't dry too fast so I didn't experience any patching. I'm wearing a coat of topcoat.

Cardamom - moss green creme. Cardamom reminds me of the fading colour of the leaves just before they turn yellow...very interesting. It's a shame it's didn't suit my skin tone. The formula was easy to apply and all I needed were two coats for full coverage. The polish dried fast and glossy but I still applied topcoat.

Chai - medium grey creme. Chai is definitely a colour for the Winter season and it will also be perfect for nail art. It applied well and I needed just two coats. As all the other polish, it dried fast and glossy and I applied topcoat as well.

Paprika - rusty brown creme. This is not true paprika colour but it's quite close so I'll take it ;) I'm wearing two coats and topcoat. The formula was good to apply and fast drying.

Chilli - dark red creme with brown undertones. Such a gorgeous and rich colour, one of my favourites in this collection! It applied nicely and pigmentation was good too. I'm wearing just two regular coats and no topcoat with this one.

Cocoa - dark chocolate/cocoa brown creme. Wow, this brown is super dark and rich! Two regular coats were fully opaque and Cocoa dried very glossy. It went on very nicely as well.

I think this collection was much needed in the Barry M Gelly line. The Autumn/Winter shades are perfect and I can't wait to so some nail art with them! My absolute favourites are Chilli, Chai and Mustard. They all had easy-flowing and fast-drying formula and all were opaque in two coats. Even though they dried glossy I usually added topcoat as it prolongs the wear and protects against chipping.

Barry M polishes are available at Barry M website, in Superdrug and Boots.

Hope you like this collection, I know I do ;) Let me know what you think in the comments! Have a nice day! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

Let's do something simple today! I've been playing with some Nicole by OPI polishes and I thought I would do the Floating French design again but with more similar colours so it looks subtle. The colours I chose are still bright and fun!

I have applied a coat of Nicole by OPI Leapink For Joy first and then I've painted the Floating French using The Coral Of The Story. I've used thin nail art brush with longer bristles to outline the shape and then filled it out with brush or nail polish brush.

Both shade, Leapink For Joy and The Coral Of The Story are part of the Seize The Summer collection that's out right now.

Here is a tutorial for this nail art style I've done earlier:

I like that this design is very simple to do and yet it can look chic and like from a catwalk. What do you think? Would you wear it?

Nicole by OPI polishes are available at various outlets in US, Superdrug (UK), Feelunique (UK), Nail Polish Direct (UK) and others.

Have a lovely day! Lucie x
