Hello lovelies,

I'm sure you will be well familiar with my today's guest contributor. I'm happy to welcome Victoria AKA Manicurator! She is a nail blogging icon with great pictures, easily recognizable hand pose and interesting nail art creations. I've been reading her blog for a very long time and I thoroughly enjoy it! Let's check out the post:

Hello Lucy's Stash readers!!

When Lucy asked me to guest post for her while she was on holiday I was of course, extremely honored and quite a bit nervous. I mean, what do you do for the girl who can do it all? She always inspires me with her intricate patterns and makes me want to do better. It's her flowers that really get me though. We know she loves her flowers, so I knew that's what I wanted to make.

I admit, I'm very new to the art of flowers and free hand (I'm a big fan of tape though :P) and this was the perfect opportunity to push myself. I created this navy and white design based on a dress I have! I used two coats Bobbi Brown Navy for the base and white acrylic paint for the flowers. It's my second or third time using paint instead of nail polish. It's different! Easier in some ways (it doesn't dry out!), but harder in other ways (more fluid and shows a shaky hand easily). The first 4 photos show the manicure without top coat. The last 3 are with Seche Vite top coat. Which I'm happy to say, didn't smear the paint at all.

I free handed these with the tiniest of nail art brushes, and I can easily say I'm proud of them! Hope you like them too. Feel free to stop by www.manicurator.com to say hello :D All the best,

Victoria

Hello lovelies,

For a while, I've been testing Eye Candy London Gel Wrap System. This product promises gel-like glossy finish and long-lasting formula without UV lamp. That really interested me because I don't own an UV lamp but I would still like to get gel-like results from time to time.

Both polishes (base coat & top coat) come in hard paper box with instructions as to how to use the Gel Wrap System.

I have applied the Gel Wrap System and two coats of nail polish and worn it for five days. Both applied very easily, base coat has quite thick formula which is good if you have ridges in nails. Topcoat dries very fast but can drag nail polish/nail art. The following pictures are after whole five days and as you can see, no chipping!

Looks like the product really delivers good results. I didn't get a chance to try it for more than five days but I could certainly do day six without problems if I was to leave it on. I will be taking this duo with me on holiday because I will need this long-lasting effect....painting nails on holiday?

Eye Candy Gel Wrap System is available at Sainsbury's or Tesco for £10.99 I believe. Or separately for £6 at Oh Beauty.

One more thing....I am giving away one  Eye Candy Gel Wrap System, courtesy of Eye Candy! Just fill out the Rafflecopter but only UK residents please. I am not able to ship outside UK due to new regulations.
