Hello lovelies,

I'm very excited to show you swatches of Shimmer Polishes! I've previously reviewed gorgeous red shade Marylin here and here and today I'll show you some more.

Airriann - mix of beige, black, blue, green, rose pink, purple and red glitter. The majority of the glitter is beige as you can see, it looked like crushed gems on my nails. The glitter in this polish is not as dense so it's more suitable for layering but also lovely for gradients. I have applied three thin coats and it was enough for good coverage. Polish dried fast and I wore it for three days and had no chipping.

Cristina - mix of teal, light blue, red and gold glitter in a clear base. All glitters in this polish are the same size and the concentration of them is quite high. It looks like two coats would ensure a full coverage. I have applied one coat of Cristina over black (A England Camelot) and the result is stunning!

Fanny - purple, orange, pink and red glitter in red-based purple jelly. The glitter density is good as this is two thicker coats and it's almost fully opaque. But Fanny is also good for layering. The drying time was slower because of the two thick coats but it also dried slightly gritty so I have applied fast-drying topcoat.

Kelly - mix of green and gold glitter with rainbow effect in a clear base. This is a great polish for St. Patrick's Day as it represents shamrock green and pot of gold in my eyes :) I have applied two thick coats again but I think I would be happier with three coats or one coat layered over different polish. The formula was slightly thicker but it still applied quite well. Topcoat applied.

Leslie - mix of purple, blue, teal, silver and orange glitter in a clear base. It's a lovely mix leaning heavily to purple and blue shades. I have applied one coat of Leslie over Essence Ballerina's Charm. As you can see, the glitter is quite dense so it could be worn by itself as well. It applied easily and didn't dry overly gritty. I have applied topcoat.

Trisha - mix of burnt orange, blue, gold and silver glitter in slightly orange tinted base. Trisha polish has a high glitter density. I have applied two thicker coats which were quite enough for a good coverage. It dries quite fast and doesn't dry gritty. Despite that I still applied topcoat.

I've got many more gorgeous Shimmer polishes to come so keep your eyes peeled! I really like them and I plan to do some gradients with them as they are perfect for it! They all have really good formula and they apply well and when one layer applied they dry really fast too.

Hello lovelies,

Today I'm going to show you some Mohda nail polishes from Harlow & Co. It's the first time I've tried this brand and I have here polishes from two lines - Hi-definition Metallic and Hi-definition Glass. Each bottle has 8,5ml so it's smaller than the usual bottles of polish. The cap is plastic with blue pearl iridescence to it.

Atirada - light metallic turquoise shade with fine silver particles. It's a very pretty shade especially because of the silver particles that make it a bit special and it has slight duochrome effect to it. The formula was good as it applied easily but I have experienced streaking. The drying time was average and I didn't have any problems with removal.

Atrevida - dusty purple-grey. This shade is another one from the Hi-Definition Metallic. It has really good formula. It is slightly thicker but it still applied very nicely. I find it slightly streaky but less streaky than Atirada. I'm wearing two coats which were enough for a perfect coverage. No problems with removal.

Ousada - coral pink with gold shimmer. The formula is good - easy to apply and dries fast. The finish is quite streaky and glossy. I have applied two coats for full coverage and had no problems with removal.

Sensual - metallic burgundy shade. This is my favourite of all, very elegant colour. It has an excellent formula. It applies very easily and dried fast. As with all the other metallic shades it is streaky and I've had to be careful about the brushstrokes. I'm wearing two coats which were fully opaque.

1º Beijo - blue-based purple with blue shimmer. This polish is designed for layering as it is sheer and full of glass flecks. It applied easily but the drying time was rather slow. I have applied three coats and as you can see, my nail line is still visible.

I have layered 1º Beijo over black and blue so you can see the difference in colour when layered and worn alone.

1º Vez - glass flecked fuchsia base with blue-purple shimmer. This polish is more pigmented than the others and it's good on its own. This is two coats and the coverage was enough. It applied well and dried an average time.

1º Amor - pale pink with blue shimmer glass-flecked polish. This shade is very sheer so it's much better for layering than wearing alone. I'm wearing three coats and I can still slightly see my nail line. It dried quite fast and it applied easily.

Overall the Metallic collection has good formula and pretty shades and I've enjoyed trying it out. I would have liked the shades even more if they were not streaky. The second line - Glass was not as nice. I don't like sheer polishes and even though these look nice layered the formula wasn't as good as the Metallic line.

You can purchase Mohda polishes at Harlow & Co. together with many indie and harder to get brands. Mohda polishes
