Nubar White Polka Dot over OPI Gouda Gouda Two Shoes - Review and swatches

Hello lovelies,

I really wanted Nubar Polka Dot polishes for a long time and now I have them both! Today I'll show you White Polka Dot over OPI Gouda Gouda Two Shoes. This is just one coat of Nubar and two coats of OPI. It applied very nicely but I had to move the big glitters around a bit to have them on the whole nail so it would look nice. Sometimes I had to just dip the brush to pick up some big glitters which I would place on the nail to fill in a big gap. It required a bit of patience but I love the result. No topcoat.

This is so lovely. I can see the White Polka Dot over a # of other shades and looking really fine! I had to buy another Nubar White Polka Dot bottle. My bottle I bought when it first was released last fall was a matte white polka dot in clear base. They changed it in subsequent batch mixes to an lightly iridescent white polka dot. I cannot wait for my finger nails to heal - they are pealing right now and I am 'under repair' processes staying away from color polish. I want to do this look first when my nails improve!

haha, you have to get bith, they are awesome! Modelaznehtu is selling them but their customer service is not great, my friend had problems with them sending the Polka dots...well it's a long story..

Do you mean base colour of the glitter? That's transparent/clear polish. The base polish I've used the Nubar over is OPI Gouda Gouda Two Shoes x

It is quite known brand in Europe but it doesn't create such a buzz as CHG or OPI :) They are definitely sold in US, check this page: http://www.bynubar.com/store/index.php?p=home

Looks pretty. I consider byuing either white or black polka dot, black is more noticeable but white is so delicate! Maybe I'll buy both in the end :D<br />Verunka
