Hello lovelies,

I know it's 24th today but for me Christmas Eve has always been the main day of Christmas as it's celebrated in Czech Republic that way. So that's why today is my main Christmas post and tomorrow I'm taking a break because I'll be celebrating the holidays the English way ;) I'm quite sad I won't have the proper Czech Christmas with all the traditions but at least I'll celebrate it twice - today and tomorrow :)

Of course I didn't forget to prepare some nails for today. It's a classic and Christmas appropriate red - Barielle Dinner At 8.

Merry Christmas!

Dinner At 8 is a beautiful shade with crelly (half jelly, half creme) formula. It is very jelly-ish therefore the pigmentation is lower. I've applied two thick coats but it was still not perfect and I could see my nail line. I've finished off with a coat of fast-drying topcoat.

Merry Christmas or any other holiday you celebrate everyone! I hope you'll have a happy day full of beautiful moments, your loved ones around and stocking full of nail polish :) Love, Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

It will be a little longer post today because I want to show you swatches of Barry M Vanilla AND a simple reversed french manicure I did with it. This polish was also sent to me for review from Brandnation.

Barry M Vanilla - greige matte creme. This shade is sooo interesting! It's like pastel mauve mixed with grey and even better - it's matte finish. The formula was good to apply but thin coats were a bit patchy so I applied thicker coats. Two coats were enough for full coverage. This whole matte range needs a bit longer to dry and harden beause you can't use topcoat.

And as always, I've done sime nail art with the polish. I combined two Barry M Matte shades Vanilla and Crush in a simple reversed french manicure.
