Hello lovelies,

Oh yes, I too am testing the Creative Stamper! When Ksenija approached me and asked if I would like to review her new stamper I immediately said YES! After all, there was a massive hype in stamping groups about this product and I was really curious.

This is how it looks - it comes in a set of stamper with the metal holder and a plastic scraper which is also a business card.

Creative Shop Stamper - Review & comparison

Creative Stamper is Ukrainian product and it's different than most of other stampers. For one it's much larger with its approx. 3.6cm stamper head. It's made of soft silicone that hugs the nail with just a bit of pressure. The stamper head is also in half-translucent white colour so white stamping will be nicely visible on it as well as all the other colours. The silicone head sits in a metal cup and so far I haven't had a case when it would fall out like with some other stampers. Massive thumbs up for that (it annoys me so much!). The scraper that comes with the stamper is thinner and more flexible than credit cards or some other stampers and it works well.

I've prepared the following manicure to show you how nicely the Creative Stamper works:

I've used the stamper straight out of the box so I didn't prime it. It worked perfectly straight away and it's great especially for gals like me with long nails. I can also see this as a favourite stampers of nail technician who stamp over long enhancements.

I have prepared a comparison between the Creative Stamper and some other stampers I have. As you can see, the difference in size is apparent and Creative Stamper can pick up much larger image areas. That might come in handy when creating stamping decals.

Tips:

  • roll the stamper over the plate to pick up the image with less bubbles
  • clean the stamper with sticky tape or lint roller
  • gently press your nail into the stamper for ideal result; you can roll the stamper over nail but it can distort the image a bit
  • don't clean the stamper with acetone, it could damage it

When I got the stamper I was a bit doubtful because it's not as squishy as my Winstonia marshmallow stamper that I love but as it turns out it works just as well. It's definitely better for creating decals because from one image I can make two decals. If you have longer nails you'll appreciate this stamper very much :)

Hello lovelies,

I have been playing around with the Models Own Disco Pants Collection and I've created this Colour Block Nail Art using all shades and black.

This manicure was quite a process. I've had a design in my head with colour block upper part of the nails...just like this:

...but it just didn't seem quite alright so I've decided to do the same to the bottom half of the nails and leaving a gold band in the middle...

...now that looks much better, doesn't it? And of course I have incorporated a disco ball into the pictures ;)

The polishes I've used for this manicure were Models Own Paradise Garage, Copacabana, Studio 54, Roxy, Sound Factory and Cirque Memento Mori for the black outline.

I've also had the Models Own nail art brush set at home for a while and I've used one of the brushes to paint this design as well. The set consists of four brushes, two doting tools and white striping tape and can be purchased here.

Funky! I loved this design, it was busy, cool and very retro! This is the second nail art design I've done with the Models Own Disco Pants collection, the first one is here and more is coming!

Disco Pants polishes are priced at £4.99 each and they launch online at http://modelsownit.com/ on Friday, October 17th, in all UK Bottleshops on Saturday, October 18th and in Superdrug stores nationwide from Wednesday, October 22nd 2014.

Have a great day! Lucie x
