Hello lovelies,

I haven't been the most creative lately, I think that the pressure of reviewing and being creative all the time is getting to me a bit. I have tried to do something with beautiful Spell polish multichromes I got for review but it didn't come out as nicely as it was in my head. Well I still hope you'll enjoy it.

I attempted a Cartoon Colour Block Nails where I've combined two multichrome polishes - Spell Polish Swinging Through Stars and Chasing Our Shadows. Each of them is beautiful on their own but together they are something different! The accents and outlines are done with acrylic paint.

I really like how the design comes to life in different light and angle thanks to the colour shift. I don't know about you but I love to play with multichrome polishes, they are something quite special.

Spell Polishes come in large rectangular bottles, I think it's like the American Apparel polish bottles. I found it a bit hard to hold and take photographs with but on the other hand it is super space-saving. Spell Polish is 5-free and available at their website for $17 per 15ml bottle.

Hello lovelies,

Today's review of All That Jazz Louise’s - From Riches to Rubies kind of ties to two previous posts I made. I got this polish as a gift at the Gelish training I went to (post about it here) and I also featured it in my Monthly Favourites post because you know...it's super pretty as you'll see!

All That Jazz is kind of a new brand on the block that launched in September 2013 at Olympia Beauty Exhibition. I was there that day and I remember popping into their stand that was fashioned into a chic boudoir (you can find my photos here). I can tell you one thing - you can expect to see much more of this brand soon!

Back to the polish of the day - Louise’s - From Riches to Rubies is a red-tinted jelly base full of fine red glitter, perfect for the holiday season!

I started my manicure with a coat of All That Jazz Base Line basecoat. I'm always a bit wary of red polishes and the fact that they can stain. The Base Line is slightly thicker so it evened the nail surface nicely and worked a bit like a ridge filler and a good protection. Then I applied two coats of Louise’s - From Riches to Rubies. It had a good formula that applied easily and dried fast. Two coats were fully opaque but they dried a bit gritty because of the glitter. I applied two coats of Top Note topcoat but I still didn't get that completely smooth surface. Since then I've learnt that All That Jazz has a separate topcoat called Double Top specifically created for glitter polishes.

It's super pretty, isn't it? I really loved wearing this polish and it lasted on my right hand for full five days without chipping (I removed it from my swatching hand after three days).

All That Jazz polishes and other hand care products are available at Nail Harmony UK website. Each nail polish bottle holds 15ml and retails for £7.

Have a nice day and stay polished! Lucie x
